Hi John, just realised the we have been back home in UK for a week now and had not told you what a great vacation we had in South Carolina.
It was a really memorable time. Val and I had 4 days in Charleston, stayed at the Francis Marion Hotel as my retirement gift to ourselves, I finished work after 48 years at the end of April, and we did all the tourist type stuff. Then Paul and Erin flew in from the West coast, picked us up and whisked us down to your wonderful house, what a beautiful place. We thought you were kidding about kids going down on the grass, but one morning we realised why as the was an alligator that must have been 7 foot long, what a highlight. We thought the jumping fish were a pretty good show but the alligator took the biscuit. Val never thought she would sing, see you later alligator, we really cracked up at that.
Once again thanks for the house it had everything and more than we could have ever used,
