Situated on the renowned, beautiful Tara Golf and Country Club, our villa sits directly in front of the 15th tee, with just a lake separating you from the golf.The spacious villa is air-conditioned and furnished to a very high standard throughout.The lounge, master bedroom and the second bedroom all enjoy a lake view.The master bedroom has a large en-suite bathroom with semi-sunken tub, a large walking shower and twin vanity basins. The 2nd bedroom has a queen bed, and the 3rd bedroom has twin beds. Bedrooms 2 and 3 share a bathroom. The large lounge has a T.V. with both D.V.D. player and video. There is a C.D player and luxurious sofas for you to relax on. The formal dining area has a table and chairs. The kitchen is fully equipped with separate breakfast area with additional table and chairs. There is a utility room with the washer/dryer, iron and ironing board. Around the pool there is a large patio table and chairs together with sunloungers and a barbecue. FREE GOLF AND TENNIS

Tara is a well known golf and country club. it is private, unless you are staying in the country club you cannot come in off the street and play. It is on the Sarasota/bradenton borders in close proximity to the local beaches,where dolphins and manatees can often be seen swimming in the waters of the gulf of mexico. There is John and Mabel Ringlings circus and mansion, Mote Marine Science museum and Marie Selby Botanical gardens, along with Sarasota Jungle Gardens and the Myakka State park all within 15 minutes drive.On the complex there is also an olympic size swimming pool, floodlit tennis courts, a gymnasium and hot tub and sauna along with that free golf. Tara is on the borders of Sarasota and Bradenton. Sarasota International airport is 15 minutes away, Tampa is 50 minutes and Orlando is 90 minutes. Whether you are looking for a relaxing holiday by the beach or an active one with golf,tennis etc., Tara is ideally placed for all different tastes and requirements.

Golf and tennis: For a one off fee paid directly to the golf club you can take over the membership whilst you are on holiday. This gives you free use of the private 18 hole championship course, floodlit tennis courts, an Olympic size swimming pool, a gymnasium, hot-tub and sauna. In addition to Tara golf club there are 44 other golf courses in Sarasota. (These will not be free of course) Sarasota/Bradenton is an ideal base to start your holiday from. The relaxing, beautiful beaches are only 15 minutes drive away, where you can find the whitest, cleanest sand in Florida. Siesta Key has been voted the cleanest beach in the U.S. for the last 6 years in a row. Busch Gardens and the other Tampa attractions are only 50 minutes away with Disney world and MGM studios being only 90 minutes drive. With all these things to do combined with a beautiful luxury villa your holiday will be perfect.

Very nice villa in a secluded and quiet location. It was very clean and had all the amenities needed for a good holiday. We particularly liked the layout of the villa which is one of the best we have stayed in over the years. There is a Publix and a strip mall on Tara which proved very useful and it's close proximity to the I-75 meant that the area attractions were very quick to get to opposed to staying in villa's further to the east of this road. There are numerous restaurants and shops within a 5-10 minute drive. Both Vicki and Allen were very helpful and we would have no hesitation in booking this villa again or recommending it to friends.
