The property is located in the outskirts of Lorgues in a calm area at the end of a blind road. The house is 25 years old with 150m2 on two floors and built on a 4000m2 sloping ground with a view to the south overlooking the mountains 'Les Maures'. The kitchen is at ground level together with the living room, a bedroom, a bathroom and a WC. On first floor you find 3 bedrooms, a small sitting hall with a TV, a bathroom and a WC. The house accommodates 8 persons. Moreover there is a sofa bed on the 1. floor. The kitchen is provided with a stove, refrigerator, freezer, microwave and dishwasher. Furthermore, a washing machine, TV & DVD, radio with CD-playerand a barbecue. The swimming pool is a 5x11 m.

The interior has in 2004 been completely repainted and refurnished due to takeover of the property.

You will find a bakery at the distance of 800 m and a supermarket at 1.5 km. To the centre of the charming provincial city of Lorgues, there is 15 min. of walk.

If your are looking for an undisturbed location, yet within walking distance from the town center, this house is perfectly situated. There are good shopping facilities in Lorgues: e.g. two large grocery stores, a couple of bakeries and a butcher. Another bakery is located about half way to the city center, 700 m from the house. Every Tuesday there is a large market in Lorgues. At this market you can get almost anything from local delicacies and handicrafts to clothes and shoes.

The house, garden and pool were nice and clean upon our arrival. It has the necessary facilities for making the stay pleasant. The pool is large, making it excellent for both swimming and playing. It is quite deep, young children would benefit from having some swimming skills upon arrival. The pool area faces west, and gets the sun most of the day. There are plenty of sun chairs and parasols, making it easy to choose whether to stay in the sun or in the shadow.

When we arrived a kind French speaking couple welcomed us. While in France it would have been an advantage to speak French, but we managed fine without speaking the language.

It gets quite dark at night, so some flashlights will come in handy if you are walking back from town after dinner.

We enjoyed our stay and we warmly recommend the house.

The house is perfectly situated with practically no neighbours and yet in walking distance to the city of Lorgues. The excellent vue from the house and pool-area is fantastic. We really enjoyed staying in this nice big house with plenty of room for a big family or several families. House, garden and pool was nice and clean at our arrival. We found good shopping and eating facilities in Lorgues. We'll give our best recommendations to this house - and we hope to be back soon.

Wonderful location

This great house is located on a hillside with a beautiful view. The ground is located at the end of a small road - completely undisturbed from the surroundings. You can relax in the big pool or visit the typical provencial town with the local market once a week. It is just 20 minutes away on foot.
The house is very nice with new furniture and kitchen hardware. Every room is tastefully furnished. You find lots of room and it was a great experience to stay three generations in the house at the same time.

When you arrive you are welcomed by a very kind couple who will show you the facilities and give you the key. They have cleaned the house and maintained the garden and pool so that you really can enjoy your stay.
A wonderful place to spend the holidays!

Lorgues is a charming provencial village with buildings dating back to the 12th century. The village is located 210m above sea level and has 6000 inhabitants. In the centre there is a cosy and relaxed atmosphere below the plane trees with many cafés and nice restaurants. You can find banks, a pharmacy, tourist information, and a selection of interesting shops. Every Tuesday a popular market is attracting people from the entire region.

The surrounding area is dominated by vineyards, and the properties are open for tasting and selling directly to visitors.

Within 1 hours drive, 15 golf courses can be found.

There are tennis courts open for rental in the village.

There is 30 km to the beaches at St. Tropez, and 1 hours drive to Nice.
