Western North Carolina is famous for its gorgeous mountains, visitor-friendly country folk and quaint towns filled with wonderful crafts and unusual antiques.
Columbus is located in one of North Carolina's isothermal belts, where the weather is most often quite moderate and winters are extremely mild.
