Ocean Cottage is a luxurious 'honeymoon' style retreat that boasts spectacular views of the Atlantic Ocean and Fripp Inlet. You are likely to see dolphin playing in your 'front yard.' With water views from almost every room, you'll also enjoy two decks... one with a Jacuzzi tub just outside the Master Bedroom. With hardwood floors, and a cozy fireplace, we promise you won't be disappointed! Conveniently located across from the Ocean Point Golf Course, this cottage also overlooks the swimming pool... just steps away. There are several wide, quiet, sandy beaches just a bicycle ride (or golf cart ride) away (both are available for rent on the Island). There are several restaurants on Fripp... the Beach Club, elegant seaside dining for gourmet dinners and exceptional Sunday brunches... the Bonito Boathouse, overlooking the Marina and spectacular sunsets... and Ocean Pt Grille for a casual bite. Lovely Beaufort, SC, a short 18 mile drive, offers a myriad of additional choices.

After a long drive to spend Thanksgiving with relatives staying at another place on Fripp what a welcome respite to arrive at this lovely cottage. My husband and I dearly enjoyed everything about this place and the island. And being an artist, I felt the owner's taste in art was just perfect. Like being at home, but better.
The owner was very helpful and I hope we can return to this villa one day.

Beautiful decor, great view of the ocean, outdoor jacuzzi tub, pool access just steps away, walking distance to the beach, a restaurant steps away as well, and two balcony areas to enjoy the ocean sunsets and sunrises... wonderful place to stay on Fripp Island. A big plus for us too, did not have to rent for the whole week to enjoy this nice cottage!

If you are staying more than a couple of days, you might want to plan to utilize the kitchen. If you are planning on day trips off the island, do your food shopping there as things on the island closed a bit early for us late night people. Also, definately get the amenity cards as you will need these for pretty much everything, and for the most part, you must pick these up during normal business hours. There are several pools around the island that are quite nice and if you like outdoor activites the island offers tons of options.

We very much enjoyed our stay and the owner was very accessible and helpful before and during our stay! Thanks for a beautiful place to get away and relax!

Wonderful getaway

My husband and I spent our honeymoon at this property and we loved it. The villa was nicely furnished and the view was gorgeous. We enjoyed eating breakfast on the lower balcony and sitting in the hottub on the upper one. It was also conveniently located on the island. This was also one of the few properties which allows one to rent for a few nights instead of an entire week.

My wife and I stayed here for our honeymoon and first anniversary, and intend to stay for our 2nd as well. The cottage is the perfect place for a quiet, intimate getaway. Every time we leave, the first thing we do is decide when we can come back.

My wife and I also stayed for our anniversary last year and it was a wonderful, romantic getaway. Small, intimate and very worthwhile. Even better than described here. Owner was exceptionally nice in working with us, too. We hope to return again this year, and maybe many more.
