With water views from almost every room, you'll also enjoy two decks... one with a Jacuzzi tub just outside the Master Bedroom. With hardwood floors, and a cozy fireplace, we promise you won't be disappointed! Conveniently located across from the Ocean Point Golf Course, and Ocean Point Grille, this cottage also overlooks the swimming pool....just steps away. There are several wide, quiet, sandy beaches just a bicycle ride (or golf cart ride) away (both are available for rent on the Island).

There are several restaurants on Fripp.... the Beach Club, elegant seaside dining for gourmet dinners and exceptional Sunday brunches... the Bonito Boathouse, overlooking the Marina and spectacular sunsets ....and Peg Legs, for a casual bite. After a long drive to spend Thanksgiving with relatives staying at another place on Fripp what a welcome respite to arrive at this lovely cottage. My husband and I dearly enjoyed everything about this place and the island. And being an artist, I felt the owner's taste in art was just perfect. Like being at home, but better.
The owner was very helpful and I hope we can return to this villa one day.

Great stay

My wife and I just stayed here for 6 days. We had a great time. The house was quiet and had great views of the sunrise each morning. We rented bikes and rode to the beach every morning and walked the beach looking for shells. We read books on the porch each day and cooked every meal in but one when we drove to Charleston for the day. The house was well stocked with appliances and dishes. The main skillet needs to be replaced. We like to grill a lot of our food and there was no grill. We didn't use the hot tub and it seems like a waste of space on the upstairs deck. Other than that we would stay where again. Thanks Mary Beth.

Adorable townhome on a great island.

Just got back from a weekend in this cottage. The cottage directly faces the ocean where dolphin played every evening. The 2nd floor porch was wonderful for watching the dolphins. The unit has very nice appliances and cabinets. It was exactly as described.
We went during the Hurricaine Irene weekend. The days before our trip, we were unsure if we should go. The owner was very flexible and understanding and she was willing to work with us to insure we had a great weekend. We did decide to go and had a grea time.
The island is great. Most people get around on golf carts which can be rented on the island. My only complaint is I would prefer more restaurant options, there are only 2 dinner options. But if you don't mind cooking on vacation, this is the perfect vacation spot. There are deer everywhere, dolphins every day, and we even saw an alligator once.
I would defnitely recomment this cottage and Fripp Island. We will be back.

Wonderful Escape for two!

This cottage was really charming and well appointed (pictures are accurate, home was clean, tasteful/modern beach decor). Size of cottage was great for two, ocean views (and sunrise) were beautiful. Quiet area, relaxing atmosphere. Small pool just outside. Short ride to beach (with sand rather than rocks). The cottage was everything we expected and then some! Owner was helpful and organized. Thank you for letting us stay in your home--it was really hard to leave!

Great Accomodations and View

Really enjoyed our get away on Fripp Island. The cottage was perfect for two. Deer came to visit within 5 minutes of our arrival. Watched the dolphins from the balcony everyday. Very quiet island - great for a low key and super relaxing get away.

Master bath is fabulous. Large (almost half of the upstairs), double sinks and a really big shower with dual heads. Definitely recommend the amenity cards as they are required to do just about anything outside of the cottage. Stop at the Publix on the way to the island in order to take advantage of full kitchen. Owner was very reliable and helpful.

Would definitely suggest limiting to 2 adults as the second bed is a pullout two steps from the kitchen and deck. Only suggested improvements - outdoor jacuzzi was very dirty (lots of accumulated grime and bird poop) and bed is probably ready to be replaced. Bed was not uncomfortable, but support is missing and the box springs squeaked every time you moved.
