Old Tahoe Cabin (originally built in 1934) all updated with most of the comforts of a modern day cabin but with the warmth and charm of an 'Old Tahoe' Cabin. You can't appreciate Tahoe unless you stay in a Old Tahoe Cabin Classic! The serenity of sitting at your own water's edge with all of the convenience of playing outside while being close to the casino fun and shows! So Much to do or you can just chill out by our beautiful and warm gas fireplace with just the touch of a button. No messing around with firewood and trying to get the fire started. This fireplace can heat to whole cabin. A choice of 4 bathrooms, 3 water heaters, and 2 cooking stoves!!! There's a beautiful front yard to play badminton, volley ball or catch and a fanatic regional park about 1 mile away with mountain biking, hiking and fitness trails, and 2 wonderful play areas and swings for babies and youngsters. If you like art and small shops they're all within a few miles, in all directions from the cabin
Skiing Info & Airport Info:
Many, Many ski resorts nearby. Choose from Squaw Valley, Northstar, Alpine Meadows, Heavenly Valley, Diamond Peak, Boreal, Homewood, and Mt. Rose. They are all between 6-34 Miles, even Sierra at Tahoe and Kirkwood are within about 60 miles. Beautiful views of Lake Tahoe from the house and deck. Besides downhill skiing and snowboarding, there's Cross-country skiing, sled hills, tubing, snowmobiling, ice skating and dog sled rides, all within 30-45 minutes of the cabin.
Reno Airport is about 50 miles away. The house is located West of Tahoe Vista, between Kings Beach and Tahoe City. The Sacramento Airport is about 100 miles away. Easy year round access even when there's lots of snow!
Beaches, Marinas and Boat Launches:
Besides our own small personal lakefront area, there are 4 wonderful local beaches and parks nearby (1M, 2M, 5M & 15 miles) cabin. You just need to pick which area to enjoy first.
Ski:
World Class skiing at Northstar-at-Tahoe, Squaw Valley (1960 Olympics), Alpine Meadows, Homewood, and Diamond Peaks and Mt. Rose both near Incline Village are within 6-15 miles and Heavenly Valley within 34M. Kirkwood is about 45 miles away too! More skiing than most legs can handle. And there's plenty of XC skiing nearby too!
Golf:
13 golf courses within 25 miles of the cabin with the closest course within 2 miles- Old Brockway Golf course (9 holes). Lots of wonderful golf courses to conquer and enjoy.
Other Activities:
