Newly decorated in Adirondack rustic style. This Brookhill condo. is fully equipped with a kitchen, dining area, living room, a wood burning fireplace, and Cable TV & VCR. There are 2 bedrooms (Master BR with King & 2nd bedroom with Queen & 2 Bunk Beds) and a Queen size sleep sofa and 2 full baths (1 w/ whirlpool tub). This condo is equipped with a washer and dryer. Outside patio and lawn overlook Lake Placid and Whiteface mountain. Nearby Lake Placid Village, offering great shopping and fine dining. Nearby Whiteface Ski Resort, home of the 1980 Winter Olympics. The country club offers it's own private Nordic Center, with miles of lighted, groomed cross-country trails. The resort connects to the famous Jack Rabbit trail for hiking in the High Peaks of the Adirondack Mountains. The club has a private, landscaped beach and waterfront with excellent swimming for children, with kayaks and boats available for rental. Private waterfront dining available for lunch and dinner. Also, excellent restaurants and shopping in Lake Placid Village and surrounding area. Stunning foliage in the fall. The club offers a newly renovated 18 hole golf course on site, as well as clay tennis courts.

Perfect getaway for group of friends.

We used the condo as a group of medical students looking for a relaxing weekend where we could ski by day and study by night. Unfortunately this is our present life! This condo turned out to be perfect. It easily slept six people with the pull out sofa in the living room and the two bedrooms. We kept our costs down by cooking and found everything needed to prepare meals. The view from the porch and the crackling fire were so pleasant to read by that we were really disappointed to leave and return for our exams. Definitely, this is going to be at least a yearly trip for us, maybe more if we can swing it. The owners were friendly to contact and the reliable internet a definite plus. This place is the perfect get-away for a group of friends, and the skiing at Whiteface certainly accommodated our group’s varying abilities.

Cross-country ski right out the door!

Excellent Condo! Easy to find, decorated in a neat rustic style with comfortable beds. We cross-country skied right from the parking lot and saw two white-tailed deer. Also, we used the wood fireplace three nights, and it made the place so cozy we could hardly leave to explore the Lake Placid nightlife. Overall, we were amazed at how restful and quiet the condo was. Katrina and Bonnie were quick to respond to our inquiry and even recommended ski trails. Apparently the owners also operate a rafting company on the Hudson River, which we intend to check out this summer.
