My husband and I along with our two daughters and sons-in-law were determined NOT to let Hurricane Isaac scare us away from our Labor Day weekend "escape"! We found beautiful blue skies, emerald water and a wonderful home in the "Blue Mountain Escape". This was our first time to stay in this area of 30A, but it won't be our last! We loved the privacy of this beautiful home and its short, easy walk straight to the beach access. The area is so laid back and relaxed, but still very close to so many great restaurants (and Publix 5 min. away!). The house itself was very clean, comfortable and gave us all plenty of room. It has everything you need to feel like (for a few days, anyway) you "Live at" the beach!! A big plus for us was that this home is pet friendly. Our only problem was that the Media Room TV had some cable/HD issues, and we had chosen this home partly because there were two big football games (Auburn AND Alabama!) on at the same time, and we needed to watch both! We worked it all out, and we all had a great time together as a family, and hope to come back for another "Blue Mountain Escape"!!
