Welcome to Contemporary Escape! Our house is located in a private wooded community. It is just one block away from the lake, the swimming pool and the tennis courts. There is enough room to accommodate groups of 10-12. The house is only 2 hours away from NY and Philadelphia.
The main level is air-conditioned and features a living room with vaulted ceiling and a brick wood-burning fireplace. The dining area leads to a screened porch. We offer a full well-equipped kitchen with a breakfast island and all cooking utensils. There is a master bedroom with a queen-size bed and a full bathroom on the main level.
The upper level features three bedrooms and a full bathroom. There is a queen-size bed in Bdrm 2, pull out sofa in Bdrm 3 and a bunk bed with futon and full-size bed in Bdrm 3.
Recreation area in the lower level features a sauna, shower for two, bathroom, pool table with a bar area, ping pong table, Foosball table and karaoke machine. We provide board games and movies.

No fee. Easy to walk with kids along the path. You can also climb up the stairs for a better view from the top. They have guided tours on weekends.
Directions: Make a left out of the community onto Parks Road. Follow the road until STOP sign, make a right onto Silver lake Road, follow the road until STOP sign for about 3 miles. Turn right onto Route 739. Continue to the first traffic light, make a right onto 209 South.

The Old Lumberyard Shops, The Upper Mill, The Old Schoolhouse, Apple Valley Village or on Hartford Street.
Directions: From Silver Lake Road make a left by the Sister’s Corner Deli onto Milford Road (SR 2001), the road will bring you into the center of Milford.

Excellent Family Hiking: PEEC – Pocono Environmental Education Center is a non-profit center whose mission is to enhance environmental awareness. The center is located off Route 209, between Milford and Bushkill.
Directions: Make a right out of community, follow Park Rd. until the intersection with Milford Road, make a right, then turn left on to Thurner Rd, turn right on to Emery. The entrance to PEEC is on your left.
