Here at Overlook you can enjoy your very own sand beach with excellent swimming, boating, and fishing. There are countless outdoor activities including hiking, biking, kayaking, and canoeing. Only 30 minutes from Acadia National Park and the historic town of Bar Harbor. The central location of this cottage allows for for easy day adventures to many downeast communities.

Lovely Vacation Spot!

My husband and I visited Overlook Cottage last July and truly enjoyed our stay. The private beach was perfect for our dogs and we enjoyed countless walks on the winding dirt road. There is a great deck for cooking out and enjoying drinks after a day at the beach. The cottage was very clean and had all the comforts of home. We enjoyed the most amazing views each evening of the sun setting over the pond. It was a perfect getaway spot for a small family. I highly recomend it!

We had a very nice stay at this property. The house was just spacious enough while being cozy, as well as clean and had upto date ammenities. The lake was beautiful, and the area was perfect in proximity for a day trip into Acada Park. We would definitely visit this property again if we have the chance.
