- 4 bedrooms, 2-1/2 baths, outdoor shower, 2 decks

This family-owned, impeccably clean house is in Rehoboth Beach, just North of Dewey Beach. The open floor plan with cathedral ceiling offers an inviting appeal. It comes fully furnished with an equipped kitchen and is only a 5 block walk to the beach or a 2-3 minute car ride to Rehoboth's famous boardwalk. It’s located on a low traffic, no outlet street and has a small yard for the kids. There are 4 bedrooms and 2 ½ baths and it sleeps a maximum of 10 people. The bedroom layout is as follows: the master bedroom is on the 1st floor with a queen bed and its own bathroom with stand alone shower and jetted bathtub; the 3 remaining bedrooms are upstairs with 2 queen beds and 2 twins. The loft area has a full-size sofa bed. The house offers free off-street parking for as many as 5 cars. There are 2 decks and an outside shower. No pets are allowed and we DO NOT rent for the purposes of 'beach week' or 'senior week' or to anyone under the age of 30.

Wonderful Vacation Home

My family has been vacationing at Rehoboth Beach for over 25 years. This property was, by far, the most beautiful, accommodating, and well-maintained of them all. The home is in a quiet location. It is close to Dewey and Rehoboth beach. The beach, whether it be Dewey or Rehoboth, were within walking distance. The owner was very friendly. Our family consisted of 6 persons, of all ages, and each of us wish to return to this home next year. This home will make any vacation fun and stress free. Could not have asked for more.

Our Vacation

We stayed here the week of june 18th. We had a nice welcome, and was shown around the house. It's a very nice home. It was clean and spacious. We loved spending the mornings with our coffee and evenings with a glass of wine on the second floor back deck. It was relaxing.
We had family visit us, so there was lots of room for entertaining.
We could walk to meet the shuttle that takes you to and from Rehobeth beach. That was great if you don't want to drive.
We had a wonderful time and would consider coming back here in the future.
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Adventure Seekers, Girls Getaway, Tourists without a Car, Sightseeing, Families with Teenagers, Families with Young Children, Romantic Getaway

Beach Vacation - May 2011

We stayed at the beach house during the last week of May 2011. During this time the beach was less crowded and we could easily find meter-free parking on Rehoboth Avenue during the evenings. The house is so clean and spacious. The entire family enjoyed the relaxing environment and really loved the convenience of being in walking distance to the beach. Anita was very attentive during our stay and she was a pleasure to work with. We will definitely consider coming back again...perhaps in the fall : ) Thank you for such a lovely beach house! The informational binder that the owners have prepared is very helpful. I recommend utilizing the binder and the Memories book for ideas on where to go and what to do during your stay. Highly recommend Finns Fish House...must try the Peanut Butter Bomb dessert : )

very nice home, hated to leave, very roomy, close to rehoboth beach as well as dewey beach. It was a quite neighborhood. Clean home, and beds were comfy. Owner was on top of things the central air was not working properly and as soon as we told him he got right on it and had it fixed. will rent this place again, (hopefully next yr).

Wonderful Week!

We recently spent a very enjoyable week here with two other adult couples. The owner arrived to greet us shortly after we arrived. He was very nice & informative. We had previously communicated with his daughter. She was very prompt responding to our emails, even phoning once because "it was just easier & quicker.

The house was very clean, roomy & nicely decorated. We had no problem with the master suite (other than laughingly discovering the jacuzzi is really meant for just one person!) The kitchen was well-equiped other than there was no crockpot (which we knew ahead so we brought our own). The dishwasher was noisy; we were concerned about running it but the owner told us it's an older one and to go ahead. (We chose not to run it at night). Walking to the beach wasn't too bad, but we had no children to worry about. The quiet, family beach is nice.

You might enjoy a short trip to Berlin (it's near O.C., Maryland). Ocean Downs Racetrack has harness races, and really delicious food at the clubhouse. Also worth a short ride to Milton, DE, is a tour of Dogfish Head Brewery. Lots of fun! We also enjoyed sitting out on the deck each night; very quiet and relaxing.

We definitely had a great vacation and agree with the others that this home was a good value, the owners' and their daughter were delightful to deal with and the return of our security depost was very prompt.
