Perfectly located just 6 houses up from the beach, this charming, beautifully decorated 3 bedroom, 2 bath home is just a 5-10 minute walk to the amusement park, restaurants and pier or to Ocean Park with it's charm of yesteryear. Whether you are looking for a romantic get-away or a fun family vacation, this is the spot for you! Within a short 5-mile drive, you'll find Funtown/Splashtown, Aquaboggan, golf courses, bowling and movie theatres. Portland, LL Bean (Freeport), and the Kittery Outlets are within about a half hour drive. Just bring your sheets & towels; we provide the rest, including a fully equipped kitchen, beach chairs, boogie boards, sand toys, etc. The beds and most appliances are new. Clean and comfortable, the house has A/C in bedrooms, heat, fans, 3 TVs, VCR/DVD, stereo, games, Foosball/game table for your enjoyment! Enjoy your mornings/eves. in a wonderful enclosed porch or on the fenced in private patio area. Wireless Internet also available.

Notes: The house includes all of the comforts of home and more! Most of the kitchen appliances are brand new, including microwave, coffee maker, dishwasher, washer and dryer, blender, toaster, mixer, iron. Fully stocked kitchen includes plenty of pots, pans, dishes, utensils and serving bowls, platters, etc. And, of course, a large lobster pot and all of the necessary lobster-eating tools!! We supply plenty of clean warm comforters and blankets for those occasional cooler Maine nights, you will just need to bring your own sheets and towels. There is a new monitor heater in case you really need to take the chill out! For your outdoor family enjoyment, there's a picnic table, charcoal grill and BBQ tools, beach chairs, 4 boogie boards, and sand toys, and a convenient cart to wheel them on the short walk to the beach!

We rented this property in 2004,2006-2008 and love it!! All the amenities of home- So much is provided in the house that we find we bring less each year- from cookware and cleaning products to boogie boards and beach chairs, Mike and Cheryl have provided just about everything a family needs to enjoy a wonderful OOB vacation. In regard to the air conditioning- we are grateful the bedroom units are provided! If the house is closed up and the air is on, enough cool air makes it's way downstairs to be quite comfortable.

We loved this house! We had an awesome time. The house was very clean and made us feel at home. Very close to the beach. We loved it and cant wait to come back next year!

This house is perfect!!!

This will be our second year renting this house and my only complaint would be that we aren't able to stay for two weeks! They thought of everything including menus from local restaurants and places that deliver pizza to your door! Even directions to the dog park!!!

I love staying at a house and not having to worry about people on the side of you, on top of you, to the left or right of you, etc. We love this place!

This house is EXACTLY as described on the site. The owners even have laundry detergent available for use . . . they thought of everything!
One note: the downstairs is NOT air-conditioned, just the upstairs bedrooms (and only a few windows open downstairs, so it can get rather stuffy). Otherwise, we definitely recommend staying here.
Owner's Response: We do state in the bedroom description that each bedroom has it's own air-conditioner.We have crank type window's on the porch,of which 6 or 7 open and close easily.The windows that wouldn't crank easily, we removed the cranking unit so guests wouldn't force them open.Other windows downstairs that (open) include:3 in the livingroom/2 in the diningroom/2in the kitchen/1 in the mudroom/and1 in the downstairs bathroom.Also 2 ceiling fans downstairs/1 in the livingroom/1 in the diningroom.Also supply a pedastal fan that we leave in a bedroom closet.
