Wonderful country home

Beautiful property and home at a comfortable distance from Bayeux. Easy access to both Bayeux and Omaha beach.

Nice getaway

Very nice home, clean and quiet. The country road to get there was not in a great shape it was raining heavily during our stay so the road was very muddy. Had a problem with no hot water when we arrived but it was rectified quickly. Very nice owner.

Relaxing stay

Wonderful home with a very hospitable host who lives on site and communicates throughout your stay. Home was very clean. Has a huge backyard that my 11 year old loved to run around in (a welcome change to being cramped in small, big city hotel rooms). The kitchen is well equipped, but you do need to bring your own hand soap and the coffee maker could use an upgrade (it leaked and took forever to make a pot- I think it was malfunctioning). The location is very convenient to Bayeux and all the beaches. Highly, highly recommend and if we come back we would definitely stay again. I would beware that if you have anyone in your party with mobility issues, the stairs leading to the 3 bedrooms and 1 bath are quite steep and the stairs themselves are quite short. I wear a size 9 women’s shoe and my entire foot would not fit on an individual stair. We are young and did fine on them, but took our time going up and down. And, there is a full bath and 1 bedroom downstairs you can use for anyone with mobility issues. Otherwise, super home, host, location and stay!

Enjoyable Stay

Our stay was very enjoyable. The area is very peaceful but close to areas we wished to visit while in France.. The short, steep stairs to upstairs bedrooms was a bit of a challenge for seniors but we managed quite well. Jerome is a very pleasant host and we enjoyed the pastries he brought us our first morning. Only regret…we didn’t stay longer 😊
