Ludlow Vacation Rental house

I have been vacationing in Ludlow and skiing Okemo for many years. In the past we have always stayed on the mountain but this time we wanted to try something different. I went up with my husband left the kids at home. We wanted something more private and romantic to relax and definatly found it with this house. It was amazing!!!! The location was perfect, just a few miles from town but it seemed like we were all alone on top of a mountain. The house was decorated comfortably and was very clean. The fireplace and sauna were just what we needed after a long day of skiing. One morning my husband woke me up early to show me the sun rising up over the mountains.(What a view from the main family room). This was probably the highlight of our trip.The owners were very friendly and helpful with the planning of our vacation.I will come back to this house from now on and can't wait to return with my children. If you are looking for a peaceful spot to vacation with plenty of room,this is it.Enjoy!!

My family and I rented this house to get away for Thanksgiving this year. The owner was extremely friendly and helpful with finding us the"Castle Inn" for our Thanksgiving day meal as well as giving us tips and directions to other local attractions and hikes. We arrived to find the house very clean and well stocked with everything you would expect in a rental. The location was beautiful and private with the most amazing views of the sun setting over the mountains. Our children loved playing ping pong and watching movies while my wife and I sat in front of the giant stone fireplace each night. My wife also spent each evening with a book relaxing in the sauna. We went for a few hikes and walks, with our favorite one being right out of the house. You can walk down the driveway and follow the road past numerous streams , a waterfall and really get a feel for the peacefulness of Vermont living. One day we took a short drive to the town of woodstock. There were so many different shops and museums for our whole family to enjoy. After spending a week in this house, we all left so relaxed and can't wait to return. I would give this house and the location the highest recommendation for any one looking to get away.

I absolutely LOVE this chalet! My family spends 2 or 3 weekends there every year. The hosts have always been gracious.The views are indredible. The chalet is spotless. It has all the conveniences kitchen appliances, washer dryer, ample space for skiis, tobogans, hiking gear, snowshoes etc. The perfect end to an active day is hot bath and sauna then a glass of wine in front of the huge fire place. My teenagers and their friends love the pingpong table and I like that the TV is away from the main sitting area! C'est Magnifique! Merci!
