Midcentury on beach

Great, laid back midcentury style house nestled on a dune ridge overlooking a beautiful curve of beach, with a very short stepped, landscaped path providing direct access to the ocean.
The ocean facing terrace, kitchen, living room, dining room portions of the house provided us with a truly relaxing beach house experience. Open the huge sliding glass doors and plan on spending lazy sunny days watching the local dolphin parade, occasional surfers down at the point, boats criss crossing the horizon and great dramatic sunsets. The long crescent of beach was mostly empty for long walks, at the ocean's edge.
Montecito and Santa Barbara are both just a very short drive away from the house for wonderful restaurants, shopping and sightseeing.
The back portion of the house (containing bedroom accomodations and a great family room) is pleasant, but those rooms are exposed to the freeway noise, as the beach road is right across the railroad tracks from the freeway. Bring earplugs if you are a very light sleeper.
