Enjoy spectacular sunsets over the bay & watch lobster fishermen right from the deck, pier or float. There are 2 comfortably appointed bedrooms, 1 king (upstairs), 1 double, with french doors leading onto the deck. Modern full bath plus outdoor shower. Deck leads to wharf and float, and a deep water mooring is available. Books, games & puzzles for your enjoyment. Kayak from the float and see eagles soar and the osprey dive for fish and seals sunning on nearby ledges. The nighttime sky viewing is unsurpassed. Hiking trails nearby. The Cottage offers a laid back Maine atmosphere while also offering modern amenities. So pull up a chair, bring your favorite book and come enjoy the splendor of the Maine Coast. The cottage is now offered on a year round basis!

Friendship is a small lobstering community in Mid Coast Maine. The towns of Camden, Rockland, Waldoboro and Damariscotta are within 20 - 40 minutes. Enjoy the Museums, galleries, boutiques and restaurants. Experience local theatre productions, Summer Opera, green markets. See the lobster boat races or go on a day sail on a schooner. Visit lighthouses, take a ferry to one of the many islands off the coast of Maine. Go exploring on one of the many trails located nearby. Or take a day trip to Acadia National Park.

Ski: Wow, we had a wonderful time vacationing at “Friendship Cottage” What an awesome job you two have done creating such a beautiful retreat in the woods & on the water. Home was comfortable, beautifully decorated & well stocked (all you need to bring is clothes an attitude for a relaxing & a great time) Location was great, nestled in woods and on the water with unsurpassed water views Landscaped gardens along the pathway were gorgeous Lovely & beautiful flower pots& unique garden decorations all over the place Meditation garden, a glorious and peaceful place to visit (moss pathway felt great on feet)Abundant wildlife (beautiful birds, hummingbirds, chipmunks(even an albino)Decks were great w/ awesome views, furniture, grill & chiminea for chilly evening stargazing Dock, a great feature for access to the water, flying kites, launching kayaks that were provided Cart for loading 'stuff' a lifesaver,Sign post tree unique (we added our little touch)Bunkhouse adorable mcgee92477@comcast.net

What a wonderful place. Our party had 2 couples and a six year old and there was enough room for everyone to be comfortable.
Beautifully decorated, very cozy and relaxing. Leave your stress at the driveway. Also fully stocked with anything you might need. It was more like staying at someone's home than a rental unit.
The only problem was leaving. Really wanted to stay longer. A week was not enough.

We discovered Maine from this perfect house. While
there, the only dilemma is choosing a favorite spot to
take in the exquisite water views and incomparable
sunsets. We were partial to sitting on the end of the
new dock and waiting for the stars to come out.

What an inviting introduction to Maine this cottage
offered us. It was relaxing, comfortable and very
homey. We loved the panoramic view from the
dining room table or deck. It was perfect for
sipping a beverage and daydreaming while
watching the lobster boats bringing in their catch.
We enjoyed the North Atlantic Blues festival in
Rockland. We loved the Pemaquid area and
watching the tide come in at the lighthouse, and
shopping and exploring quaint little Maine villages,
especially Damariscotta. The cottage is private,
surrounded by trees and natural gardens. We
enjoyed long daily walks and discovered paths by
day and meadows of fireflies by night. It was truly
an amazing experience! We are already looking
foreward to our next holiday at this great
oceanfront cottage.

We have stayed in the cottage several times and each stay gets better. The cottage is cozy and comfortable. We are a family of 5 with many interests which are all met here. Great hiking, kayaking, shopping, eating and relaxing. You will fall in love with this cottage.
