We enjoyed staying at your Berg Stuga and it is our favorite place out of 10 years of renting in the Smokies! Your website did not do justice to the beauty of your cabin's interior. I knew from the site that the views would be awesome, but we were delighted with the decor as well.
The listing underestimates the truly FABULOUS experience we had in this home. The master bedroom is just stunning as is the rest of the house. The picture of the view looks exactly like the one I carry on my cell phone. Coffee on the porch, watching the newly hatched birds and the "smoke" rise off the mountains (hence the name "The Smokey Mountains") was such an amazing experience. And when it was too warm during the day to sit on the porch, it was easy to sit in the living room with a cool drink and look out the expanse of windows over the Valley.
Also, we didn't actually "go" to fireworks on the Fourth. We didnt need to. Sitting on the porch watching over the Valley we saw many, many fireworks.
Our favorite thing to do was tubing down the river. We found two tubing places in Townsend (about 10 minutes away) and even our then-four year old had a blast!
I cannot reccomend this place highly enough and the listing, while factually correct just doesn't do enough justice to the home the owners have created.
WE had an amazing time the only thing is that I wish there were more rocking chairs on the porch for a couple more to relax with the rockers. Also the kids enjoyed the hot tub just wish we could have turned the temp down on the control hopefully when we come visit again we could adjust that or have the owners adjust it before our arrival. Everything we needed to relax. Thank you so much wish we saw a bear out there but we did get to see some Deer. We loved the sound of the wiper will bird I think the name of it is. Can't wait to go back for some more everlasting memories!
Absolutely beautiful cabin with great amenities convenient to both Pigeon Forge and Townsend. It was perfect for our family of 6 (with plenty of room to spare). The house was closely surrounded by steep woods, no trails, but made for a fun afternoon of hiking. Steep drive; be prepared to down shift.
We rented through BearCampCabins (the management co.), but not able to leave reviews on their website. The rating would be 5 stars except for 2 issues:
1. We called re: wireless not working, said they would call back to let us know when someone would come the next day. No one ever called or came during our visit so be aware wireless may not work during your visit.
2. Hot tub did not have enough water. Jets spurted out everywhere when turned on. I assume it just needed to be filled more, but filling it with cold water would not meet our need for the evening.

The view is great and the cabin was exactly as advertised. We rented through Bear Camp cabin rentals. They are not very friendly and seem stressed or overworked. They need some customer service training. Other than that the cabin was excellent. Great weekend.
What a very spacious and well laid out chalet! Everything was clean, comfortable beds. The master is to die for! Big master bath, lots of dressing room. The views are just unbelievable. Kitchen is spacious. Kids enjoyed the space downstairs. Upstairs was spacious as well - the photos are good, but they don't show the true "quaintness" of this lovely chalet. Owners were exceptional to work with, problem free rental, we will be back and have recommended to others!
The location and the home couldn't have been more perfect for our family! The view was breathtaking and the spacious house allowed us plenty of room to spread out! The site in the Smokeys enabled us to do a different outdoor activity each day (a hike to Laurel Creek Falls, a trip to Cade's Cove, a visit to Tuskaleechee Cavern, a morning at a petting zoo) along with a tourist trip to Pigeon Forge for mini-golf, go-carting and pizza thrown in for good measure.
The kitchen had everything we needed and the large table made eating together fun and comfortable.
I HIGHLY recommend Berg Stuga...and we hope to visit again in the future!
