Wonderful log cabin, approx. 2 miles past Ghosttown at the Blueridge Pkwy, nestled back in the woods away from everyday life in the valley below. This cozy cabin with paved driveway offers 1 bedroom on main level with a king bed, upstairs bedroom has a queen bed. Sleeper queen sofa in roomy living rm in front of wood burning fireplace where you can spend a romantic evening and then venture out to the hot tub nestled within a gazebo overlooking the Great Smoky Mt ranges. Spend your days mountain biking, hiking or 4-wheeling through the many trails throughout Hornbuckle in the surrounding area. 4-wheelers are allowed so you may bring yours. This cabin is in a great location for day trips. Gatlinburg is only a 41 mile drive through the spectacular Smoky Mt National Park and if you continue on for 15 miles, you will reach Pigeon Forge. Asheville is only about 35 miles away and can be reached by traveling the breathtaking Blue Ridge Pkwy where you can visit the Biltmore Estate.

Pates log cabin is located near Cataloochee Ski Resort in Maggie Valley, NC with Gatlingburg, TN and Cherokee, NC within driving distances of 45 miles or less. There is whitewater rafting available close by also. Enjoy the drive along the Blue Ridge Parkway with breathtaking views along the way. Tour the outlying area by train through small mountain towns and see all the views from the train.

  • January, February, March:
    $100/night + tax, 3 night minimum Plus fees
    $500/week +tax
    Add $200 deposit which will be held until after visit. once inspected, deposit will be refunded if no damages are found.
    ***Recommend 4-wheel drive during winter months****

    $130 Night Plus Tax and Fee
    $700 Week Plus Taxes and Fees
    $200 Deposit

    June, July, August:
    $800/week + tax + fees
    $200 deposit required

    September:
    $130/night + tax, 2 night minimum plus fees
    $200 deposit required

    October:
    $900/week only Plus Tax Rented By Week Only plus fees

    $200 deposit required

    November, December:
    $130/night + tax, $200 deposit required plus fees
    5 night minimum for Thanksgiving and Christmas**RATES ARE HIGHER****
