On a clear day, glimpses of Martha’s Vineyard can be seen from the end of the street. The neighborhood features a fantastic series of walking paths that lead you down to the water’s edge where you can explore to your heart’s content. Public Ocean beaches within a a few minutes drive include Old Silver Beach, Surf Drive Beach, Falmouth Heights Beach, Bristol Beach, and Menahaunt Beach.

For Golfers, there are tons of great tracks to choose from including Falmouth Country Club in Falmouth, Quashnet Country Club in Mashpee, Cape Cod Country Club in Falmouth, Paul Harney Golf Club in Falmouth, Ballymeade Country Club in Falmouth, Brookside Country Club in Falmouth, and the impeccable New Seabury. For runners, bikers, and walkers, a terrific perimeter road encircles the entire peninsula where adults and children can enjoy a low-traffic setting and enjoy recreational activities safely. This neighborhood is also a true paradise for kayakers and canoers. During your stay, you can leave your kayaks on the water edge literally just a few steps away. Once afloat, you’re just a few paddles away from Childs river, Seapit river, Eel river, Waquoit bay, Vineyard Sound, and the magnificent Washburn Island.

If you want summer activities, you've got it. For access to Martha’s Vineyard, the Falmouth Island Queen Ferry runs hourly from Falmouth Harbor landing, which is just a short drive away from the house. For fishing, bring your boat, book a charter in Falmouth Harbor, setup on jetty or wade the bay flats. For restaurants and boutiques, there's Main Street Falmouth, Woods Hole, and Mashpee Commons. All are just a short drive away. Falmouth also offers a terrific selection of restaurants, pubs, and night spots.
