Enjoy accessible seclusion in a cottage with a beautiful Maskell's Harbour view and a small boat beaching area. Launch your kayak or canoe in the creek below the road and make your way through the alders into the salt marsh and then on into the harbour. There are good hiking/ cross country skiing trails up the hill behind the cottage. Maskell's Harbour is on the Gillis Point - Washabuck Road five miles east of Iona and the Highland Village and about an hour's drive from Baddeck, Sydney or Port Hawkesbury. The cottage is recently renovated, comfortable and full of natural light.

Cabin was well off active traffic as well as off the grid. This was explained prior to our arrival, and the accommodations were more than adequate for two adults. We had considered having another adult couple with us, and that would have been a strain, but one or two children or teens would have been fine. Master bedroom was great as was the queen sized bed.

Arrangements and supplies could not have been better.
