Three bedrooms and loft, two and one-half baths with whirlpool. This luxurious home with all kinds of amenities has lots and lots of lakefront. Great Room with massive quartz stone fireplace and fully equipped kitchen with automatic dishwasher, microwave, all new appliances and Monson slate counter tops, heated walkout basement to store skis, snowmobile gear, etc, cedar decks, with all kinds of access to water, beach, swimming and hiking and miles of wooded trails, golfing and marina. Swimming, water skiing, fishing, boating and skiing, white water rafting and snowmobiling available within a few minutes. Hundreds of feet of lakefront and view of fine pebble beach nearby, fine appliances, decor, and exquisite lighting. Dining for twelve.

Moosehead Lake is the largest lake in New England. Explore its 550 miles of shoreline in a boat, kayak or snowmobile. Fish the lake year-round for salmon & lake trout or fly fish in the near by streams. Shuttle from Rockwood to Mt. Kineo, ride on the historic steamship Katahdin. Aerial tour in a float plane. Have fun on a moose safari, white water raft, water ski, swim, mountain bike, shop, snowmobile, cross country ski, downhill ski at nearby Big Squaw Mountain ski resort or spot deer and moose! Hiking trails range from easy to challenging. Golf courses include Mt. Kineo & Squaw Mountain. The Gulf Hagas (Grand Canyon of Maine) and Canada are both great day trips. Fall is exquisite at the Blue Ridge, and in winter, with the lake frozen, snowmobiling is a great way to explore this winter paradise.

Wish we stayed longer! The cabin was gorgeous with breathtaking views of Moosehead Lake and Mt. Kineo. It had everything we needed allowing us to feel at home. Very tastefully decorated with top notch appliances and fixtures. Secluded and very quiet but yet not too far from stores, things to do and places to explore...
The owners were very accomidating and answered all my questions quickly and completely. . Can't wait to come back! Thanks for the memories!

Most Memorable Vacation

My wife, 2 grown children with spouses stayed at Loggers Run June 2008 and will never forget it. The views of the lake and mountains are breathtaking. I took many photographs that got rave reviews. Accomodations are top shelf, in fact, there was nothing I was not pleased with.

great place and view

This was a wonderful place to stay. We were there in August, for a week. The house is setup very nice, the kitchen had everything we needed. This was our 1st trip to Maine and we will definitely come back, and yes the moose do come right to the house!!

The accomodations were top notch, very clean, and comfortable. Our family stayed during the winter months and was cozy and warm. The owner was very accomodating. We would definitely stay there again. Thank you for allowing our family to experience Moosehead at it's best.
