Nice Cabin but it needs some maintenance upgrades

The cabin was clean and well stocked, with sheets, towels, dishes and such. However there was an apparent short in the light fixture in the kitchen, which sparked and smoked when tuned on. We then elected not to use the fixture. The ceramic kitchen floor tiles were coming loose, and several smaller ones were already missing. Also on our day of departure, after washing the towels (in conjunction with the rental agreement), the water completely ran out and stayed out for over 2 hours. That prevented us from washing the sheets or doing our breakfast dishes befor leaving.
I think some electical, and plumbing upgrades, as well as replacing some rotting wood outside the cabin, would go a long way to make this cabin a much better rental for the tenants.
Owner's Response: I would like to respond that as soon as the call came in about the light fixture I immediately called the repair person. We had no prior knowlege of the problem and tried to resolve it immediately. The water issue is that it is a remote area and water is brought in on a truck. An alarm goes off when the water is running low and at that point there are instructions on moving water from the top tank to the bottom one. These instructions are posted and if the tenant had simply called we could have given simple instructions on transferring the water. We have tried to make this a comfortable get a way, but it is in the woods and so there are some special considerations. We will repair the tiles and wood as soon as possible.
