Everything is included! Very large swimming pool, 4 bedrooms, and 3 bathrooms.

Very quiet, at the end of a cul-de-sac and close to the centre - linen and cleaning included.

In Saint-Rémy-de-Provence, ideally located in a quiet setting right next to the village. Can house 8 people - air-conditioning – secure.

Only 300 metres away from the Saint-Rémy-de-Provence centre, this villa was completely redecorated and newly equipped for seasonal rental in 2014. All the beds, except in the master bedroom, can be joined together or separated. Each bedroom has air-conditioning.

It is only a 5 minute walk to the village centre of Saint-Rémy-de-Provence; the Avignon TGV train station is 20 min away by car, and the Marseille-Marignane international airport is 50 min away.

The house has an approximately 140 sqm living space, and a nice living room opening onto the dining room. The kitchen is fully equipped. The master bedroom is on the first floor and has a 180 cm wide double bed and a private WC with wash basin. The bathroom is on the ground floor and comprises another WC, a wash basin, and a bathtub.

The ground floor also comprises 2 other bedrooms, each with two 90x200 cm twin beds which can be joined together to form a super-king size bed (180x200). These bedrooms share a bathroom complete with washbasin, bathtub and walk-in shower, as well as a separate WC. They open onto the south terrace with access to the swimming pool and the summer lounge.

The studio comprises a large bedroom with air-conditioning and two 90x200 twin beds which can also form a 180x200 double bed, and a shower room with washbasin and WC.

The garden covers over 2000 sqm of tree-filled land; it is beautiful and comprises a 7.5 by 17 metres swimming pool, bathed in Mediterranean aromas. In the summer you can enjoy a meal in the shade on the outdoor dining table, or have a barbecue.

The equipment includes a television, a DVD player, and broadband Wi-Fi. The property is secured with a fence and a gate. There is parking for 6 cars. The pool is secured with an alarm. A boules court is at your disposal.

Simply wandering through its narrow winding streets, you will come across pretty, antique fountains, small, shaded squares, home to pleasant restaurant terraces, and elegant shops.

From the Place Jean Jaurès to the start of the old town, you will see many private mansions (most of which have been converted into museums and art galleries), convents, chapels, and superb residences dating back to the 17th and 18th centuries.

The beauty of the landscapes and the quality of the lighting have inspired many artists, writers, and painters.

The most famous is without a doubt Van Gogh, who did more than 150 paintings in the Saint-Rémy-de-Provence countryside.

A hike around the different places who found their way onto Van Gogh's canvas will show you the mountains around Saint Rémy, the wheat and poppy fields, the olive trees, and cypresses, which remain untouched after more than 100 years.

Saint-Rémy-de-Provence, a historical city, was built on one of the most ancient archaeological sites in all of Europe. The ruins of Glanum, founded in the third century B.C., and taken by the Romans under Julius Caesar, constitute impressive vestiges of the different civilisations that succeeded each other here. You can visit the vast Roman baths, the long residential avenue, the temple, and the natural springs in this true Gallo-Roman town founded 10 to 30 years B.C. Two important monuments can be seen near the site: the Triumphal Arch and the Mausoleum of the Julii.

Amateurs of ancient architecture, art, and small shops will be delighted by Saint-Rémy. For the last few years, the nice properties around Saint-Rémy and the shaded terraces of the Place Jean Jaurès have attracted celebrities as well. Far from the crowded beaches, artists and celebrities can appreciate the calm and soothing atmosphere of Provence which can be found in Saint-Rémy. Très bien située à deux pas du centre historique du village, cette maison est un havre de paix, un enchantement lorsqu'on se prélasse dans le jardin aux multiples essences méditerranéennes. Ce fut une semaine de rêve ! Grand confort, équipement au top, piscine très agréable, multiples endroits aménagés dans le jardin (impeccablement entretenu) pour la farniente ou les moments plus conviviaux... Nous conseillons vivement cette location !

Formidable ! super semaine

Nous avons passé une super semaine dans cette location! Tout est prévu pour vous faire passé de bonnes vacances: le très grand calme, le canapé, les fauteuils de jardin à l'ombre sous la tonnelle, les bains de soleil autour de la grande piscine avec son grand parasol et l'équipement de la maison est neuf et complet. En plus nous avons profité des vélos ce qui n'était pas prévu au départ.
Elément important le centre est à 5 minutes à peine à pied (et 2 minutes à vélo )pour arriver dans les rue piétonnes pleines de charme avec tous ses restaurants et boutiques.Rien ne manquait, nous reviendrons !

Excellent Séjour

Nous avons passé une excellente semaine ici. A destination des prochains vacanciers nous pouvons leur dire que la piscine est immense, le jardin impeccablement entretenu, et surtout nul besoin de prendre a voiture pour aller au restaurant, ce qui a été déterminant dans notre choix, et dont nous nous sommes félicité. La maison est très propre et fonctionnelle, facile à vivre, et la climatisation fonctionne bien.
