Kona Isle is a beautiful oceanfront condominium complex located one mile south of Kailua-Kona. Spectacular sunsets can be seen from the sandy beach area. This wonderful 1 BD/1 BA unit has been designed with tropical décor with comfortable furnishings and all the amenities to make your vacation relaxing & carefree. It is located on the top floor (third) for the most desirable views where you can watch the para sailers, dolphins, kayaks, ships, and seasonal whales. The heated swimming pool is ideally situated at the ocean edge along with a sandy beach, picnic area, and gas barbecues. A unique salt water pool is next to the ocean. The town of Kailua (shopping and restaurants) is a short walk, as are beaches, snorkeling, and the Ali'i Garden Marketplace. Free WiFi access in complex. (GE Tax #W34114766)

Aloha and Welcome from the Owners: Aloha, We (Mark and Pat) live in California but love Hawaii. It is our second home. Pat is from the Big Island of Hawaii, specifically Hilo and Kohala. We are able to be very helpful to renters to offer suggestions for activities, day trips and especially visiting the east side of the Island, which is where the Kilauea Volcano is; we can tell you about those special places or culture information that the normal tour places can't.

Additionally, after many years of travel and staying in hotels, resorts and other people's condos, we have a good understanding of what it takes to provide that home-away-from-home atmosphere. Also we have asked our renters what they want and acted on their feedback as much as possible. We are proud to offer you our version of the perfect 'Hawaiian Vacation' of relaxing in a 'home-away-from-home' but yet a VERY SPECIAL PLACE, complete with all of the things that you would need for a comfortable and convenient vacation.

Wonderful Place to Stay

This is truly a home away from home. Had everything to offer we could possibly hope for. We actually prefer it over a hotel at any time. The condo was just as described - nice and clean, and had all the little details (from pots & pans to towels) and more that were listed. The grounds were beautifully landscaped, and we loved BBQ-ing while watching the water and sunset. The location was perfect for us as it was quiet, yet close to everything. Our favorite places were Kealakekua Bay to Ka'awaloa (only about 15-20 min south) for kayaking, snorkeling and dolphins watching and Hapuna Beach for boogie boarding (we even saw some whales there in the distance) about 45 min north. The little Market Place across the street has everything from fruit and flowers to souveniers and some really nice items.

Nice condo, perfect location

This condo was recently remodeled and looked great. Some small upgrades in the kitchen and in the bathroom would make it perfect. There were a lot of games, books, small appliances and even binoculars. The condo is very, very quiet.

The location is perfect - only steps to a small grocery shop and only about 3 minutes by car or 20 - 30 minutes walking to the center of attraction in Kona with numerous restaurants. A Safeway supermarket and a Walmart are only 5 minutes by car.

There is a nice seawater pool on the property, but the beach has no easy access to the water. There are at least two Beach Parks nearby; however, the best beach - Hapuna Beach State Recreation area is about 45 minutes by car to the north.

Quiet, relaxing location

Stayed at this property for a month, Was everything that we were hoping for and more.
Condo contained everything that we needed.
Smaller condominium complex therefore quiet and relaxing.
Great facilities... nice pool and sandy beach area under the palm trees. The sunsets from the condo balcony here are amazing.
Would definitely recommend staying here to our friends and family.
Owner and Property Management company very helpful and efficient o deal with.
Definitely want to return.

Cozy and quiet

We loved the condo. The best beach for not so strong swimmers is actually about 20 miles away. This condo is great for those who like to relax and don't mind driving a bit to see the sights (Volcano, Parker Farm, National and State Parks). The amenities were excellent-above our expectations-there was everything we needed. The property was very clean and well maintained. I would definitely reccommend this to a friend, but probably not one with small children. Downtown Kona was fun if you like shopping and restaurants. The best beach is Hapuna. Don't miss the out of the way small parks for great views and picnicking. The rental agent (Sunquest) was extremely helpful with all the arrangements. They made check in and out easy with maps and were great communicators. Don't forget to add in the extras (taxes and cleaning fees) when you calculate your costs.

Great place to stay

We had a spectacular vacation at the Kona Isle condo. It was convenient to town and all the activities and restaurants. We walked on Alii Drive each day. The condo's amenities were all new and super clean. We barbequed mahi mahi and chicken using the gas BBQ's at the ocean edge. We even mixed up some guava margaritas with the blender and drink book. Thanks to the owners for helping with the activities.

Kona Isle is a very popular oceanfront complex located one mile south of the main town of Kailua-Kona. The well-known Ali'i Gardens Marketplace is across the street and down about 100 yards - a very short walk. It offers a wide variety of handmade Hawaiian arts and crafts, daily Hawaiian entertainment, kona coffee, fresh local produce, and the famous 'shaved ice.' The complex is situated on the main thoroughfare of Kona with easy access to grocery stores (i.e., Safeway), drug stores (i.e., Longs), and Kona also hosts Walmart and Costco. Luaus, water activities (snorkeling, para sailing, kayaking), shopping are all within 1 - 2 miles.
