Away from hustle and bustle of Palm Desert and Palm Springs this Montego West condo, part of the venerable Bob Hope Classic gated community—home of the BDCC—offers everything you need for a luxurious break from the world. Vacation Rental is also located minutes from the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival, and the Empire Polo Field in Indio, California.

Located just 120 miles from Los Angeles and San Diego, SoCal residents flock to this area to take advantage of the year-round sunny climate, the natural oasis of palm trees and waterfalls, and the hot mineral springs. Popular activities include golfing and tennis, and general relaxation. Ringed by three magnificent mountain ranges, Palm Desert is sheltered from coastal air pollution and inclement weather. With 350 days of sunshine a year, there is seldom reason to postpone outdoor fun. If golf is your game, you've come to the right place. Bermuda Dunes Country Club is one of the most familiar names for golf pleasure and has participated in the 'Classic' since its inception in 1959. Every year the best of the best come to play at the BDCC. The schedule for 2008 is January 14-20. The Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival is a popular event held annually in Indio, CA - just minutes from our vacation rental condo.

Notes: Bright and high-ceilinged, this 2600 sq. ft., two-level condo is impeccably furnished in newly acquired contemporary furnishings and fine art, with white carpet throughout. Two huge upper and lower patios command a view of the expansive lawn surrounding the nearly private pool and the backdrop of the Shadow Mountains. These North-facing patios give you afternoon shade to lounge in, while a third South-facing patio gives you a private place for sun worshiping. The upper patio's misters spray fine jets of cooling water for the extra warm days, while the overhead heater will take the chill off during the cool evenings. There's also a garage to keep your car out of the desert sun. Relax in two master suites on the lower level while playing games, watching TV or entertaining your local friends in the spacious room upstairs with its full kitchen and dining area. When you need an extra bed for the occasional guest, there is a queen hide-a-bed, also upstairs, next to the the third full bath.

Although the BDCC Golf Course is not open to the public, you will be just minutes from many public courses, including the Golf Club at Terra Lago (formerly Landmark Golf Club), two courses at Sun City Palm Desert, Sun City Shadow Hills, Palm Desert Resort Country Club, Heritage Palms and many more. For music and arts fans the annual Coachella Valley Music and Art Festival, just minutes away from our condo, is a must.

Fine dining options: A few favorite restaurants, all just minutes away, are Arnold Palmer's, The Hog's Breath Inn, LG's and The Cliff House in LaQuinta; Castelli's, Pacifica, Sullivan's and Romitti's in Palm Desert and Wally's Desert Turtle and Las Casuelas Neuvas in Rancho Mirage. They are all great and several offer live music.

Other Activities: Golf, tennis, hiking, biking, street fairs, Indian Canyons, shopping, Knott's Soak City, concerts, plays, nightlife and much more.
