About this property

This cozy cottage is a short walk to shopping, dining, and our beautiful beach with bike and walking path. You will feel safe at home in this quiet setting located directly behind the owner's 1882 Creole Cottage. Private parking and a large yard provide lots of space for pets and lounging.
This space includes almost 900 square feet of living area with all the comforts of home. The enclosed front porch has a washing machine and dryer, ironing board, iron and outdoor games. The back porch seating area overlooks the pond and pottery studio.

Lovely cottage in a lovely town

Great cottage behind owners home. Very quiet , clean, and comfortable. Close to the shops and eateries on the bay. Owner very accessible but also respects your privacy. Enjoyed my stay in Bay St. Louis!

Cottage life perfection

WoW!! Such a perfect time we had. Joy is a pleasure to work with and now I consider a friend for life. Everything we could have wanted and needed was there. Great location. Peaceful, she even ordered us perfect weather! Can not wait to stay here again

Restful Respite

The cottage is cute & well appointed with everything you’d possibly need; the location is ideal….close enough to all the fun and excitement of Beach Blvd but quiet & restful and very comfortable. I can’t wait to go back.

I retired after teaching for 24 years at Our Lady Academy, an all-girls Catholic high school just a couple of blocks from my home here in the Bay. My teaching experience dates back to New Orleans where I started my career as a church musician and teacher in Jefferson, just up the river from Orleans Parish. I continue to serve as a music director at First United Methodist Church in Gulfport.

Why they chose this property

As a young traveler passing through Bay Saint Louis on Highway 90, I never had any idea what a hidden gems this little town is. Imagine my surprise when I finally made my way off the state highway to find the most delightful, friendly town I have ever imagined. So, it didn't take long for me to realize my dream and find a property that could be my long time residence. And I would like to share my discovery with you. Come visit and you just might find yourself wanting to stay forever!

What makes this property unique

Bay Saint Louis has the perfect ambiance and location to relax and be close to the water and all it has to offer and still be within an hour's drive to the exciting and historic city of New Orleans. You can meander down our scenic highways or make a b-line to the city via Interstate 10 which runs 7 miles north of town. As New Orleans celebrates it's tricentennial, I am reminded that Bay Saint Louis was founded before New Orleans was and by the same explorers. I wonder how many people have made the connection between our namesake Louis, King of France and Louisiana?
