Fantastic private home on the bay. Central airconditioning Large sliding glass doors open onto your own private bay for swimming, fishing, boating or just watching the sail boats go by. Recently renovated with hard wood floors fully furnished with all amenities. Near Newport with all it's mansions activities and fine dining. Fireplace for peaceful evenings at home viewing the lights from the near by bridge a truly peaceful and romantic setting central air conditioning high ceiling with fans detached garage detached laundry room with additional guest shower.
About Joan

We purchased this home 18 yrs ago because the water views were breathtaking It felt magical to wake up to the waves in the morning we originally bought this to be close to newport where we vacationed on long weekends although we still go into town often the best part is just relaxing by the bay and being with family

Why Joan chose Portsmouth

We saw many property's when we were looking but fell in love with the magnificent view the neighborhood is quiet the entire street was once a plantation that was then subdivided into cottages for there families many of these homes have been passed down through the generations we were very fortunate to be able to purchase this

What makes this house unique

It is centrally located near Bristol really cute town and close to newport which I still enjoy the activities and restaurants

Joan.......we had a wonderful time using your perfect cottage. It was our home away from home for one fast week! The views morning..noon..and night were breathless. The grandkids are already asking about next year!! The new thing this year was clamming and steaming them - I've never had them so fresh! Delicious! It was a super week and my family all enjoyed themselves. We also met Joe next door. What a nice guy. Neil (my son in law) and the kids gave him some of the clams - the kids had dug way too many! - and he made clam chowder and brought it over for lunch. What a treat! The kids also met some kids living down the street and that was fun
