The Stowe area offers alot of activities and events throughout the different seasons. Hike up to the Notch and enjoy a picnic at one of the most scenic areas around. Continue over the Mountain into Jeffersonville and enjoy a day at the water park! Bike, rollerblade or enjoy a walk on the recreation path starting in the village ending up by the Mountain. There are many shops, restaurants and events to see on the way, make a day of it! The Skiing at Mount Mansfield is something everyone should experience. Try the groomed cross country trails. Come see the covered bridges that Stowe has and take a sleigh ride through the beautiful snow covered woods.

I wish my own house were this beautifully decorated and well appointed! Fabulous rental - have been here for a girls' weekend as well as with another skiing/hiking family. We've stayed in many high-end places throughout the country and this is one of the best. Beds are unbelievably comfortable, kitchen has everything you'll need - actually the house has everything you could want ... and more. My favorite place is the living room - curled up on the couch with a board game and a roaring fire, looking out the big picture window as a hot air balloon rises above the trees just beyond the front yard! And location? It's doesn't get any better. Secluded yet close to town and the slopes. Go to Stowe, rent this house and get ready for one of your best vacations yet.

Bourne House is the finest property we've rented in Stowe in our many years as returning vacationers. The house was a real treat for everyone in our family. The space was beautiful. It has a great living room with views of the mountins and a cozy fireplace. The beds were luxurious. The kitchen had everything we needed. There was a hot tub and wifi for our teenagers. There was even a boot dryer for all of our ski boots at the end of each day! I would definitely book this house again and hope to soon!

We've gone to this ski house 2 years in a row now - It's been perfect each time. From the wonderful open living space downstairs to the beautiful fireplace and of course the hot tub, your stay will be first-rate. Don't forget the beds, the master has a posterpedic. Very nice.

Not only that but last year there were 2-way walky talkies left for us to use on the mountain. Very helpful because Stowe doesn't have great phone reception.

Oh, and there are soft bathrobes for your use. It's just a little detail but that's why this house is so nice, they've thought of the little details. Whenever we've had friends join us for a ski weekend here they all rave about the place. I highly recommend staying here.

Form descriptions on property rentals seem so sterile and dry. This home is anything but! The house itself is charming with sweet details but the amenities that the owners have added are wonderful. Come prepared to make memories, we treasure the family time we spent at this house in Stowe.

Perfect Again!

This house is beautiful. The owners have provided everything we could have possibly needed for our stay, including a library of movies, books & games for the kids and an incredibly well equipped kitchen. The location is perfect for skiing during the day and then heading into town for dinner, but we preferred eating in and spending time by the fireplace.

The owners have been making improvements and it was fun to see the changes. We loved the house before, but now it's even better! This was our second time renting this house and we'll definitely be back next year.
