The property is secluded in a gated community that is well maintained year round. You can indulge yourself in nature on the bank of New River as you relax, rejuvenate, and restore your soul in a modern log home. You can fish from the bank, canoe, hike, or watch the New River flow by as you sit on the deck. As the day winds down you can relax and enjoy the mountain and river views in the rockers on the deck. The property is conveniently located in the northwest mountains with close proximity to the Parkway, Boone and Blowing Rock. This wonderful, riverfront, smoke free, pet friendly cabin is tastefully decorated and offers everything you need for a vacation to remember. The kitchen is fully equipped with stove, microwave, coffeemaker and blender. (All you need is the food.) Full size washer and dryer are provided. All linens are provided.

The location provides for year round attractions and recreation. It is truly a location for any season. Winter provides beautiful snow covered mountains with snow skiing opportunities. You may want to come to one of the many surrounding Christmas Tree Farms to choose and cut your own tree. Spring and Summer provide fishing, canoeing, hiking and relaxing mild temperatures. Enjoy the changing of the seasons as fall approaches with the beautiful array of leaves along the Blue Ridge Parkway. The property offers many types of wildlife including turkeys, deer, raccoons, and beavers just to mention a few.
