POND VIEW CONDO NEAR PICO AND KILLINGTON - SLEEPS 5

The condo was described very well, pictures showed exactly how it looked directions were perfect. The condo is minutes from Pico ski resort and just a few miles from Killington. Besides skiing in the area there is also many hiking trails.

The condo especially the living room is very small, I don't think it would sit 5 people comfortable, we had 3 and it was fine. There is a washer and dryer in the condo which came in handy, as there were not a lot of wash clothes and towels.

The only complaint we had is there is 3 german shepard dogs that were above our condo and they barked, and jumped around a lot.

The actual condo was clean, well maintained and very delightful to come home to after a day of sightseeing or skiing, the owner is very easy to work with and we look forward to returning next year. We would recommend this rental to anyone.

The owner has a guest book in the apt and it was nice to read what other tenants had to say, especially when they recommended places of interest and restaurants, we referred back to the book a few times.

We would recommend if you are going as "leaf peepers" in the fall, to go to the Killington Chamber of commerce and pick up a list of where all the decorated bales of hay are through out Killington, this is an annual event that starts Labor Day and goes through Columbus day, it was fun looking for all the hay bales. (The owner had told us about this event)

In Rutland VT we ate at a couple places, the South Station Trolly has a huge salad bar and a good lunch buffet, also we ate at a restaurant chain called 99 it was excellent, we would highly recommend in Mendon VT, the Sugar and Spice the food was exceptional, the staff was friendly and they are the cheapest in the area to purchase maple syrup products.
