Mountain Dreams is the perfect place for getting away from the pressures of everyday life. Situated on a quiet lane in Townsend near the national park, it's tucked away in the trees and allows for plenty of privacy. The large wraparound porch is wonderful for rocking away the evenings or you might want to relax in the hot tub on the covered porch. This cabin has everything you need whether staying for a weekend or for a week. Mountain Dreams is perfect for a couple or for a small family. It is a no smoking/no pets cabin.

Townsend is located next to the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. It is the closest town to Cades Cove, 7 miles away. Townsend is considered the 'peaceful side of the Smokies' and is very popular with couples and families. The activity of Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge is only 25 minutes away and makes for an easy day trip. But, you'll love returning to the quiet, restful and uncrowded village of Townsend.

We rented this cabin the week of June 7, 2009, and I would highly recommend it. The setting was private yet convenient, the furnishings were very comfortable, the towels were plush and plentiful, the kitchen was well-stocked, the appliances worked well, and the hot tub and wrap-around porch were wonderful. Robin, the person from whom we rented, was terrific to work with and kept the cabin in spotless condition. If we are back in the area, we will certainly rent Mountain Dreams again.
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Sightseeing, Families with Young Children, Romantic Getaway

Perfect Hidaway

I was completely delighted in having found this gem of a hideaway. My husband & myself and my son & his wife were there to ride motorcycles over the weekend. The cabin was easy to get to, VERY clean and a great alternative to a hotel room. The privacy of having your own place to go to was wonderful and the hot tub was a nice way to end the day. Breakfast at the Back Porch was awesome too! We also visited the local caverns and that was a nice sightseeing stop. I would definately recommend this to a friend. Cajun 4
