Enjoy this year round waterfront house with the protection of a small cove and beautiful views across Alton Bay. 108 feet of waterfront includes a private U-shaped dock for 2 boats. Granite stairs lead to sandy swimming area. The four bedroom home comfortably sleeps 10 (1 bedroom with two twin trundle beds (sleeps 4), 2 bedrooms with a queen bed in each.) Basement suite has 600 sq ft with pullout couch, 2 rollaway beds, kitchenette and separate tiled bathroom. Some of the many amenities include central air, all new kitchen, gas grill, gas fireplace, gas wood stove, clothes washer and dryer, cable TVs and DVD player. This house offers 4-season fun. Within minutes you can hike Mount Major, sun and swim at Ellacoya State Park, and ride horseback, and test the skate park at Gunstock recreational area. The fall foliage is magnificent. The cove is perfect for ice fishing and skating. Just minutes to Gunstock ski area, which offers family-friendly downhill skiing, ski school and tubing

Lake Winnipesaukee offers year round recreation. In the winter, the frozen lake provides snowmobile access to all trails leading as far as Canada! An ice fishing village appears every winter in Alton Bay, and the cove provides shelter for ice skating. Gunstock Recreational area offers summer horseback riding, fishing, skate board and roller blade park, and a fabulous children's camp program in addition to it's excellent winter ski and boarding terrain, tubing, and ski school. The whole waterfront region boasts many waterside restaurants and diners, ice cream parlors and interesting shops. Musical offerings and local theater abound throughout the summer season. A little piece of heaven on Alton Bay.

I can honestly say that the descriptions for this place do not do it justice. It is MUCH nicer than the description. Is has undergone a total remodel, and it was done right. The house itself is gorgeous. Bedrooms are on the small size, but more than room enough to sleep. The open concept living room and kitchen provide a great gathering space. The kitchen is brand new and very nice, which made cookings meals pleasant. The spacious decks (there are 2) and a great place to relax in the evening and watch the sunset. The stairs down to the water are perfect for children, and there is a water trampoline as well. The dock is great, plenty of room. And the house is situated on a nice quiet cove away from the boat traffic. All this plus there is a free launch right down the street to put your boat in as well. Overall I could not have been happier with this place. I plan to stay here again and would recommend this place to anyone looking for a nice place on Lake Winnipesaukee.
