Blue Skies is a 2 level villa on the north finger of the 500 acre resort of Jolly Harbour. The back patio is on the water, and is a short walk to a smaller private beach. The larger 1 mile long beach with Castaways Beach Bar is on the south finger of the resort, less than a mile away. There are six other restaurants, an 18 hole golf course and a full service marina; as well as, the Epicurean grocery store. The resort is located on the southwest corner of the Caribbean island of Antigua which boasts 365 beaches, one for each day of the year. A car would be needed to get to all the Antigua beaches, and the major car rental firms serve Antigua. If you would prefer staying at Jolly Harbour, golf carts can be rented to move about the resort, and a Hertz rental office can be found at Jolly Harbour. Don't miss the Sunday night steel band, and reggae barbecue at Shirley Heights, or the famous Lord Nelson's dockyard.

Perfect spot in Antigua

Really nice villa fully furn. HBK staff are really nice and Jolly Harbour is a nice place to be! Beautiful view from the balcony! We really enjoy our stay there and Antigua is a paradise Island to discover! Don't hesitate to rent a car so you can go and visit all the beautiful places on the island.

Lovely retreat

This was a well-maintained villa in a lovely development called Jolly Harbour. The villa itself is comfortable for at least four (and can accomodate 5). It is well set up for breakfast and lunch (and has a great patio overlooking the water) and we even had several dinners. The beds were very comfortable. The roads in Antigua are tricky (poorly maintained) and with left-hand drive, we tended to stick close to the resort at night but found a number of good restaurants either in or near the resort.
Recommended for:  Girls Getaway, Families with Teenagers, Families with Young Children

Would go back!

We traveled to Antigua over New Years and has a fabulous time. The villa was very clean and safe. The bed was comfortable and the view was very pretty. We also enjoyed the food, beach, and staff. We would go back agian! John was easy to get a hold of and very personable over the phone. He also has a wonderful neighbor that lives there most of the year. The information and recommendations were very helpful!
