This cottage is truly for the discriminating vacationer, very romantic and beautifully appointed. The master suite is spacious and the full bath is to die for with a whirlpool and both indoor and outdoor showers. This home is newly built with quality textures including oak floors, tumble marble, limestone & corrian. The ceilings are cathedral throughout . Unlike many Vineyard rentals, we have added central air and a garage (for those who may bring their convertible or motorcycle) The living room has 2 leather couches that are right in front of the gas fireplace...bring on the ambiance! 2 people maximum, no, pets, & non-smokers. Beach chairs, beach blanket and many more conveniences are included. Perfectly located 1 mile from town (Edgartown) & 1 mile to South Beach, right off the bike path. Relax on the front porch in a pair of Adirondack chairs or flex your muscles at the basketball court. Once you rent this gem it will be hard to go anywhere else!

Car: recommended
Located right off the bike path and evenly positioned a mile from South Beach and a mile from the heart of Edgartown. Katama is one of the most sought after destinations on the Vineyard because of it's proximity to both South Beach & Bend in the Road Beach. A morning stroll into Edgartown is very do-able. A car is reccommended but one could manage easily with just bicycles.

Not a single detail is overlooked in this sparkling, spotless, beautifully appointed home. It reminds me of a Four Seasons property: that is how high the quality of decor, furnsihings, line and towels are. The owners even have a gigantic basket of oils, soaps, shampoos, lotions and potions to choose from. Forget a toothbrush? It's there. SLIPPERS? Razors? Toothpaste? ALL THERE. It has a sumptuous feel but is not ostentatious or uncomfortable. On the contrary, the home just feels like one big dreamy spa visit!

The owners take their role in your vacation very seriously: recmmending spots to try, asking for suggestions on how to improve the home. It is a very special place and I implore you to book for next year and begin dreaming today....

I work hard and play hard so when I leave my job and go on vacation I want it to be a reward. That was the whole premiss when we built this guest house. We felt people should feel that this is a great reward and we want our guests to come back. My friends that travel always give me those hotel goodies so if one forgets something it is there for them shampoo etc.. A Vineyard Sanctuary

We spent our two week honeymoon at this lovely cottage. The owners of this little gem have hit a grand slam in terms the ammenitites which they provide. This guest house benefits from an excellent location and is fully equipped with modern conveniences.

We contemplated renting bikes but found that we were better served by driving to the Vineyards many towns/parks/beaches and then exporing them on foot.

The cottage is very close to Norton Point and South Beach (approx a mile) as well as Edgartown.

The only down side of our stay was having to come home..

Great Romantic Getaway Cottage

Unbelievable cozy cottage with shower for 2, jacuzzi, fireplace, cozy livingroom and great kitchen. That's just the house.....you also have the great beaches within walking distance & the red clay cliffs of GayHead. Terriffic little town that has all you could want & after a few days you won't want to leave the vineyard. Great island. Owner is very accommodating & makes it very apparrent they just want you to have a great time while you're there. Will definitely be going back again!!!!

Relax Relax Relax, this home is appointed with everything you could ever need. It is spotless, top of the line, romantic and cozy. I have stayed here twice and will definately be back again & again. The owner is very accomodating and professional and really wants you to enjoy your stay!!
