Fully refurbished 3 bedroom , 1 bathroom , property can sleep 8 to 10 people

Spacious 3 bedroom family friendly apartment set in picturesque gardens 12 minutes from the fabulous Son Bou beach. The apartment is in a complex which has the use of 3 swimming pools all with safe area's for children, 2 childrens playgrounds and tennis courts. A short walk from the San Jaime center which each evening (June - Sept) has a nightly show for all the family, there are 3 restuarants and bars all on the complex or you can stroll on 5 more minutes to resort center. We have a well equipped modern kitchen and bathroom including washing machine etc. The lounge/dining area consists of a table and chairs, high chair, 2 double sofa beds and a cd, tv,dvd and assorted board games with an array of dvd's for your enjoyment. The bedrooms consist of 2 double rooms with 2 single beds in each and 1 single room with a bunkbed. Air conditioning is supplied by ceiling fans, there is a large terrace to the front with a table and chairs to spend glorious on and a smaller terrace to the rear.

We live in Middlesex and have 3 children who are 18,15 &13 who have been coming to the apartment every year since we have bought it. The oldest boy still enjoy's Son Bou with the night club and beach sports with the other children still enjoying all the other amenities that this resort offers.

We bought property because we liked where it was located as it has plenty of space around the apartment and the gardens are well kept. We have upgraded the apartment every year and it now has a new kitchen, bathroom, wardrobes and furniture. We have added a flat screen TV with English and Spanish channels, a DVD, ipod, cd player, fan's and portable heaters in the very unlikely event that they maybe required. The kitchen is fully equiped and we have a cool bag for the beach with various inflatable toys for the kids.

The apartment has a feel of being relaxes with all you normal home comforts.

A REALLY EXCELLENT FAMILY HOLIDAY

We had a super holiday. The apartment was clean and well equipped and the complex itself was excellent. There were actually 4 pool areas to use. The one next to the water slides was great but the best one for kids was the Son Bou Gardens Pool area as this tended to have more kids from England and the day time entertainment was really good. Manuel was really good and myself and the kids played football, volleyball, water polo and lots more - not forgetting the lazy bingo. The resort is just big enough with sufficient bars and restaraunts and the beach is fanatastic.

We had kids aged 4, 7 and 15 years and they had a really great time.

OF A HIGH STANDARD

The apartment was very clean and well kept of a high standard. The location was brilliant for access to the mushroom and larger water slide pool, plus easy access to the beach, bars and restaurants. The apartment is set within some lovely surroundings and despite being close to the pools was still very peaceful. The only downside is the apartment is fully booked for 2014 as we was hoping to stay again next year, i will certainly being booking for 2015.

GREAT LOCATION, GOOD CONDITION, HELPFUL OWNERS

This was the second time we have stayed in this apartment and already we are looking forward to going back. It is a great complex and this apartment is excellent, in good condition and everything you need to enjoy a self-catering holiday, with an cupboard full of beach/pool implements. On Mick & Fiona's advice we hired a car for the week, which gives you the benefit of doing a big shop in the Mercadona at Mahon after landing and sets you up for the week. Then able to get around this small but interesting island which you would struggle to do otherwise. Can recommend Ciutedella and Fornells for a great choice of fish restaurants and aside from the beach at Son Bou there are a number of other lovely beaches and you get the benefit of not paying for parking and not too busy - you don't get that in the UK. The evening entertainment at the complex is a very good standard and very family friendly all round

LOVELY MODERN APARTMENT IN NICE SURROUNDINGS

We have recently returned from a one week stay and had a really nice holiday. The apartment is clean and modern and has everything you could need during your stay. There are 4 good pools available on the complex and a really nice long sandy beach with clear water.
The apartment is nicely decorated and has a flat screen TV with all English channels. You can also watch films on DVD. The staff at the complex are friendly and helpful.
We took 5 teenagers with us and they did find the resort fairly quiet, although there are plenty of bars and restaurants and a bowling alley.
We had a really nice holiday and hope to go back again soon.

EXCELLENT ACCOMODATION

We have just enjoyed an excellent weeks holiday in this resort. Although the weather wasn't very 'Spanish' the quality and location of the apartment softened the blow. Taking our 2 children of 7 & 4 for their first overseas holiday accomodation was crucial. It was important that we stayed somewhere which would enable them to play outside, but giving us the comfort that they were safe. At the same time if the weather wasn't too friendly there was facilities inside the apartment to keep them occupied. Both boxes were ticked. We were fortunate that the neighbouring families had children of similar age and if they weren't playing games out the front, there was an 'open door' policy. With satellite, DVD etc they were occupied when the weather turned.
The apartment was spacious, comfortable and in very good condition and exactly as described in the advert. Definitely appeared to be the best one.
The complex was ideal for families. The pools are all different so you can choose your favourite - worth noting that although you are charged for the sun loungers by the pool next to the entertainment centre, you can redeem the voucher you receive on food/drinks etc at the venue.
The evening entertainment is top notch. We were quite keen to have an earlyish night, but due to the quality of the acts it didn't happen. Hired a car for a day from the car rental office near the supermarket on site, which seemed good value, but if you are hiring a car for a week, probably worth doing it from home. We took the bus to Mahon which is worthwhile and if you are on holiday to enjoy the sun/beach pools, a days car hire is probably sufficient just to take you away from the complex and see some of the island.
Overall the kids gave it 10 out of 10 despite the mixed weather. We thought we might try somewhere else next year but have now reconsidered and will be looking to return here and will definitely look to stay in this apartment if free. People we met had been coming back for upto 12 successive years.
Mick and Fiona were very helpful leading up to our visit and I hope they didn't mind us giving guided tours to guests in neighbouring apartments - trust us they were envious

A GREAT HOLIDAY

We are a family of five who holidayed at this apt for eight days this may, we cannot recomend this property high enough, everything that was described in the description was there, we have been to this complex several times and would say this is by far the best apt we have stayed in, looking forward to booking next year.

The apartment in San Jaime is set amongst well kept spacious gardens 10minutes from the fabulous beach of Son Bou, the longest in Menorca.

The complex has 2 supermarkets, 3 pools, 3 restuarants, 2 tennis courts and a fairly demanding maze to test your wits against.

The resort of Son Bou is a family oriented area with an array of very good restuarants, bars and discos, with a small fun fair various local festivals at different times throughout the season.

Son Bou has a tourist train which travels around the resort, there are regular bus services to The local town of Alaior which has some delightful local products and places to visit or you can stay on the bus and go to the capital Mahon Which has more shops and places of interest to visit.

The beach has a back drop of sand dunes and a nature reserve with a natural duck pond and has all the amenities you may require such as motor boats, pedalos, paragliding, 2 restuarants and shower and toilet facilities.

The accommodation is very spacious and has a flat screen television and DVD player with a wide selection of dvd's for all the family. There is also a radio and CD player to listen to music of your choice. There is a ironing board and iron for the use of our visitors. For the children there are various board games to play. Our property is managed so if there is any problems or if something breaks down they can be rectified straight away. At the reception you can hire safety deposit boxes and leave your cases and use there showers if you have to check out before your flight departs. If required we can arrange car hire for no extra cost and help with booking flights where needed For the golfing people there is a golf course in Son Parc (20mins in car).
