Otero-by-the-Plaza offers easy accessibility to all Santa Fe has to offer, spacious gathering spaces, quiet privacy, and delightful colors with international art and artifacts. The Compound can accomodate up to 16 guests. Otero-by-the-Plaza is affiliated with five other quality homes in the same quiet, historic neighborhood. All together, we can accommodate up to 42 guests. As such, we offer a flexible and beautiful launching pad for groups with varied interests to disperse at will, easily regroup, share good times, and create lasting memories. Your Hosts:
Proprietor, Sir Dr Russell Betts ('Russ') lived & worked most of his professional life in Asia, the South Pacific & Europe, addressing through non-governmental agencies issues of social, economic, & political change. His partner, Noel Bennett, lived most of her life in the Southwest. She is a full-time artist. She has authored 9 books on Navajo weaving, history, & culture, and was a prominent national figure in the weaving world.....
When you arrive, we are there to personally greet and orient you--and answer questions. We also offer a welcome binder which includes maps of Santa Fe and the environs and some ideas of things to do and places to go. A very favorite with our guests is our extensive section of restaurant menus -- arranged by closeness of proximity (those to walk or drive to) and by special interests such as Take Out, Healthy Eating, Favorites with Kids, Less Expensive Fare.
