Shop: Antiques and malls just minutes away. Or just three hours to Toronto - scenic drive around Lake Ontario.
Adventure: Snow Skiing, hiking, golf, or go see a game or NASCAR at Watkins Glen.
Relax on the deck listening to the 'melody' of the water or swing away on the hammock on the metal frame.
Ontario Beach Park and Port of Rochester and Charlotte (Abott's Ice Cream is famous) 5 miles to the east.
Braddock Bay park and marina 5 miles to the west. Hamlin State Beach Park 16 miles to the West.
Fall Season:
Take the easy leisurely drive through the Finger Lakes and enjoy the many small wineries, fresh apples and feast on the glorious explosion of color as the leaves glow in reds, orange and yellow!
Metro Rochester is within a 30 minutes drive. There are great restaurants, theaters, Rochester Redwings baseball, planetarium, science museum, and various festivals throughout the summer and fall. Universities - State University College at Brockport (25 minutes), The University of Rochester (30 minutes), Rochester Institute of Technology (30 minutes), Saint John Fisher College (40 minutes) - Our Lake house is a perfect place to stay for homecoming weekend, or parent's weekend! Six Flags, Darien Lake Amusement and Water Park is 45 minutes away. Niagara Falls is less than 1 1/2 hours away.
