P.S. Please note that there have been some attempted hacks on our site, through Home Away I believe. Please be sure to call us at the number supplied on the listing. I'm not sure that we have been getting all of our inquiries. Thanks.
This beach house was a replacement for an early 20th C cottage that disappeared in the great Blizzard of 1978. In 1980 we moved back on the lot and built on piles. I am a retired environmental planner/urban development consultant; my wife teaches Russian at Tufts University. We have been in Cambridge since the early 1960's. We share this lovely getaway with relatives from California.
A cousin at Harvard Medical School found this beach in 1964 with his three boys, and he purchased the original cottage there. The family has enjoyed this getaway ever since. We also appreciate the fact that we are less than an hour from Cambridge/Boston.
Great beach walks; digging clams; great variety of seascape and beach;
