Perfect for a Family Getaway!!

Our family of 3 rented this spacious house knowing it was more than we needed, but we loved the location and layout and knew we'd have plenty of space for entertaining, and a bed for whatever random relative might have stopped by! We hosted a dinner for our 37 family members that converge on Kennebunkport every year; of course it rained that evening and everyone was inside, but we had plenty of room and the back play room was perfect for the little ones.
The beds were comfortable, always a plus since we've rented houses with awful beds that killed our backs. Facilities were well maintained, and linens are available (but I like to bring my own pillows and towels). I loved being able to walk everywhere - to the pier for my morning stroll, the Wayfarer for breakfast, Cape Porpoise Kitchen to pick up sandwiches for the beach, the Captains for dinner, and Bradbury's for groceries. Nunan's Lobster Hut is across the street, but you can also get lobster and steamers to go at Langsford's and a co-op right next to the house. Getting to downtown Kennebunkport is very easy from here (I find road signage to be lacking and confusing around here!).
Other family members are now eyeing this house for future rentals, since they have much larger families than ours! With our huge clan, it was nice to be close to Goose Rocks Beach, where everyone else stayed, but also nice to have our own space a couple of miles down the road.
I highly recommend this rental, and am also very satisfied with the communication with the owners.
