Lakefromt log home, a perfect spot to enjoy the fall foliage. Nestled in the woods this charming cabin was built in 1924 but has been modernized to make it an all season retreat. Peace and quiet abound in this pristine environment, a few short minutes to Wilmington, Mount Snow resort area and Marlboro Music Festival. This is the perfect spot to take in the gorgeous fall foliage of Vermont. The view from the deck overlooking the lake is spectacular, take a short walk, hike or drive along the back road foliage tours. Canoes are available for enjoying the lake. Lake Raponda is four miles from downtown Wilmington, a quaint New England village with a wide variety of restaurants, shops, galleries and lively nightlife. There is a nearby flea market every weekend through mid October. Or just relax and watch the wildlife on the lake from the porch or sit by the fire in the stone fireplace. This home is suitable for couples, families and weekenders. Get away in time and space

Lake Raponda is a very short drive from Wilmington Vermont. The area is very popular during the fall foliage season and hosts a variety of harvest activities. The lake offers swimming, boating and fishing. Wilmington is a charming town with many art galleries and The Memorial Hall Center for the Arts, offering musical and dramatic entertainment. The world renowned Marlboro Music Festival is a short drive. Mount Snow & Haystack are minutes away. Winter sleigh rides are available at Adams Farm. Snowshoeing, snowmobiling, cross country skiing and tubing are all available nearby. A wide variety of wonderful restaurants abound in the area. Downtown Wilmington is a quaint Vermont downtown with shopping and art galleries.
