A great place to relax in a nice informal setting.
A small town just up the road offers the basic necessities
including a movie theater, pizza shop, chinese, and other small restaurants. Be sure to stop in at Butterfields in town, an amazing little eatery with outstanding food.

The neighbor to the north is a nice flyfishing couple that live in Manhattan and come up once a month on the weekends, so there is a good chance that you may never see them.
The neighbor to the south is a permanent resident and 'the mail lady' - Great person to get in touch with if you have any questions about the area.
One of the best wild trout fishing spots on the river, right in the back yard.
My family and I came to this wonderful log cabin during Labor Day weekend.
Pictures don't do this place justice!
This log home was very clean, well maintained, and HUGE!
There are no pictures of the camp fire, but trust me when I tell you that it's right on the river and is gorgeous!!
The grill on the deck was well taken care of and well supplied with gas and all utensils.
The kitchen was very well stocked with all you'll need for any type of cooking.
The bedrooms were very clean with fresh sheets.
You can really tell that Maureen & Jon really love this place because of how well they take care of it!
Maureen & Jon were very very nice and answered all our questions right away.
Maureen & Jon, my family had an amazing & relaxing time during our stay! Thank you!
Will definitely rent this place again!

We had a great time! The home had everything (and more) needed for a weekend getaway, very clean and decorated beautifully. We will definitely return in the future for another stay, only next time it will be longer than a weekend.
I highly recommend this home and it's owners.
This property was exactly as stated. It was clean, well stocked. The pictures were perfect. Sitting on the beautiful deck watching the river flow by, the fishermen f l y fishing, the ducks floating leisurely by, the birds building nests, and even the chipmunk scampering about made you forget the world and totally relax you! A definite vacation spot away from the hustle and bustle of daily life!
We had a most relaxing time at this place. The kitchen is well equipped, and the rest of the house is clean and maintained proper.
Quiet, and an ease of mind get away spot; well suited to catching up on reading and indulging in nature's simplicity. Sitting by the river bank with a book, and looking up occasionally at the mostly hushed fly-fishermen is quite the event, if that's your cup of tea.
The only downside is there's not a good grocery store around the area. The Super M is at best sufficient, but it leaves you wanting. I would suggest making grocery plan prior to arrival if you want better
food and alcohol options.
The house is located in the Upper Delaware River Valley. Located in Deposit, NY
It is west of the Catskills, with Roscoe 30 minutes to the southeast. The Southern Tier of NY starts 30 miles to the west in Binghamton. The Finger Lakes Wine Country is 1 1/2 hours away. Cooperstown is 1 1/2 hours away. In the summer there are music festivals near by, small town theater/dinner theater, and lakeside dining 10 minutes away.
