Perfect 1 bedroom condo in a picturesque, impeccably maintained, Hillcrest complex, one of San Diego's most sought after neighborhoods. Top floor unit (floor 3, elevator), with lots of windows/sunlight, romantic balcony/deck, air conditioning, garage parking, private laundry, high speed Internet, and a great LCD HDTV. One thing that is hard to capture in pictures is how this unit feels like a home. Three sides of the unit are unattached, with just one common wall to neighbors. There is no 'cave-like' feeling of many apartments. And the location is wonderful -- easy access (1 mile) to Balboa Park and the San Diego Zoo, downtown/waterfront, Old Town and other sites (a quick drive to SD Airport). Just steps to cafes, antique shops, restaurants, supermarkets -- this really is one of the prime San Diego locations. The condo is spacious for two people, and is well equipped and nicely furnished. It's situated in a nice neighbourhood with everything just a couple of minutes away, including the bus stop for downtown.
The bus takes about 20 minutes . Balboa Park is within walking distance.
There are grocery stores adjacent to the complex, and a wide range of places to eat. The swimming pool is good too.
We are in our early 60's and found the other people in the complex very friendly. It is quiet and clean and it would suit anyone who wants a comfortable and relaxing place to stay and retreat to after the bustle of downtown San Diego.

This condo is perfect in many regards. The apartment has a superb distribution of space, is beautifully decorated, equiped with all the ammenieties and kitchen ware to make your staying very comfortable. It has a little cute balcony facing a central patio and since the unit is on the top floor there is always sunlight and a cool fresh breeze coming in the unit. The complex is very well maintained, with exquisite gardening work and flowers everywere. The pool, the gym and the jacuzzi are a high plus. The location makes this condo even more appealing. Hilcrest is one of the best neighborhoods in the whole city with lots of entertainment just at walking distance from the complex. I have spent a month in this apartment and it felt just like home. This is paradise.
