Offering a total living space of about 5500 square feet and the capacity to sleep up to 28 people, Hale Pohaku is perfect for family reunions, weddings, business meetings and retreats, and other large gatherings. We're also one of the very few accommodations on Kauai that will allow events such as weddings, parties and receptions to take place on the property itself at no additional charge. Within our private half-acre vacation compound are two fully restored 1940s 2 bedroom/1 bath plantation cottages, a third larger cottage built to mimic the other two, and our 5-bedroom/3 bath historic 1950s Manager's House The buildings are located around a large grassy area that's perfect for ceremonies and group events, or just give everyone a chance to play croquet. The property is fenced or gated on all sides, giving an added bit of privacy and protection for families traveling with small children, and our pool is just for Hale Pohaku guests.

Notes: Of our 11 bedrooms, six have queen beds and five have a pair of twin beds each. With advance notice, we're happy to convert the twin beds to king beds to better fit the needs of your group. We offer three cribs and two high chairs. We keep on hand all sorts of pool and beach toys, including floats, boogie boards and sand chairs. There is snorkeling gear on site, but we can't guarantee we have your size!
