Activities:
Eagle’s View is close to everything! It is about 1.5 hours from Denver International airport, 1 hour from downtown Denver, and 5 minutes to Blackhawk, 11 miles to Eldora Ski Resort, 90 minutes to Breckenridge, 90 minutes to Estes Park, close to Loveland Ski Resort, less than 10 minutes to Golden Gate State Park and 11 miles south of the town of Nederland.
Hiking: There are numerous hiking trails within a 20 minute drive from Eagles View, multiple hiking maps are provided for our guests in the cabin.
Fishing: There is a fully stocked private pond ¼ of a mile from our cabin for the residents in our area. Fishing passes are provided for our guests and located in the cabin.
Temperatures in this region can vary greatly within one day. Summer days may reach 80F and drop into the low 50s at night. Winter days can feel warm with the sun so close, but be sure to bring warm layers for nights and activities in the shade. Sunscreen is necessary in every season. Nederland, Colorado: Nederland is 17 miles west of, and 3000 feet above, the city of Boulder, and is the largest town along the Peak-to-Peak Scenic Byway that runs more than 55 miles from Black Hawk/Central City to Estes Park. Eagles Views is about taking time out during your day to listen to the forest, be with the ones you love, sit on the deck at night and watch how the mountains change while the sun is setting.
In addition, it is getting up early and going for a long morning walk and watching wildlife stir as you walk by.
