Located in a quiet residential neighborhood just minutes from downtown Austin this spacious (850 sq ft) one bedroom walk out apartment is an excellent value compared to nearby hotels and other rentals. The unit is situated to the rear ground floor of our home surrounded by beautiful mature trees and landscaping. Close by downtown bus routes, University of Texas shuttles and easy access to IH35 provide travel options for attractions both near and far.

Close to all the downtown area has to offer yet located in a quiet, mature, tree covered residential neighborhood. Easy access to IH35 provides a 5 minute drive to all downtown exits including Town Lake hike and bike trail, the Convention Center, Warehouse District restaurants, Sixth Street live music, the State Capitol and the University. Other close by attractions include Zilker Park with it's beautiful spring fed Barton Springs pool and the Long Center for Performing Arts. Adjoining the Travis Heights neighborhood with another spring fed pool at Stacey Park and the shops and eateries on trendy SoCo (South Congress Street). If you really like to walk then downtown takes about 40 minutes or alternatively walk 5 minutes down to Riverside, pick up a quick bus ride into town, enjoy a night out and cab home for less than $10. A 30 minute drive will take you into the Hill Country, Lake Travis or Factory Outlets in San Marcos.

Inside...: Completely remodeled in 2005, the unit has central air and heat, a large fully equipped eat in kitchen, stained concrete floors, a modern bathroom and is tastefully decorated throughout. The living room and bedroom have individual access to the kitchen and bathroom allowing reasonable privacy for each room. There is wireless internet available and a high speed LAN connection located near a small desk.

Outside...: You may park off the street for access via your own well shaded yard with a small patio, table and chairs, grill and various shrubs and herbs around the borders. A charming spot for relaxing or cooking out the yard is fully contained and ideal for small to medium pets.

This place is so much better than a hotel! It's spacious and close to all of downtown Austin's attractions. We were traveling with our dog and even she felt more at home here, plus we had access to a yard for her. I'd stay at this rental again and recommend it to friends and family.

The apt is updated and attractive. Huge kitchen and perfectly sized bedroom, living room and bathroom. Private entrance is nice. Very close to downtown and a fast, easy drive. Quiet mid-century neighborhood. We loved it, priced perfectly and will be back next spring. We were so happy to be here rather than a hotel! Comfortable space for 4 easily. If you wanted to be in Austin for a while, this would be lovely. Owners are accomodating with a lovely British accent!

and close to everything. All the space you could
possibly want, beautifully furnished, great kitchen,
