Private access to recently resurfaced tennis courts & lakefront beach on Goose Pond Lake. Tanglewood (4 miles) Jacob’s Pillow ,Shakespeare Festival Old inns, gourmet dining, antique shops, art galleries Hiking/biking trails (Appalachian Trail, October Mountain State Park) Downhill or cross country skiing-within 15 minutes. 3/4 Hour from Hartford, Ct, 1.5 Hours from Boston, MA 2.5 from New York Location: 1.8 miles off Exit 2 of the Mass Pike on route 20 East. The house is located on an acre of wooded property on private road. . The area is filled with all season sport and cultural activities. The fall foliage is a photographer's haven. During winter months the house is in a prime location for downhill skiing at Butternut, Bousquet, Catamount, and Jiminy Peak- or cross country on marked trails in conservation land and National Forests. Easy access regardless of weather. Summer: Tangelwood concerts 4 miles away- Norman Rockwell Museum, Jacob's Pillow, Shakespeare and Berkshires Theater Festivals, Canyon Ranches Spa, Cranwell Golf, plus much more. Within minutes of Lenox, Stockbridge, Great Barrington. For the shopper, there is the Prime Outlet Mall as you exit the Mass Pike.

Notes: The house is a split ranch. The lower level has a family room with a 36 ' TV and the computer. There is a master size bedroom on the lower level with twins beds and a large bathroom The utility room on this level, has a washer and dryer. The solarium, kitchen/dining, and living room are situated on the main level. There are many sky lights making this level nice and bright. The door leading to the screened in patio is off the living room. The BBQ is situated outside the patio. Two steps up from the main level is the master bedroom, the second bedroom and a large bathroom with a shower and double jet tub. The master bedroom has a king size bed and the second bedroom has a queen futon. In the living room, there is a queen hide-a bed, and there are also aero beds to be used if needed. We have a rubber 'dingy' boat which is available. The rentor may use this boat at their own risk.

We spent a week at the house in the winter. It worked well for us, our children, their spouses and 2 babies. The house is very clean, well-equipped and very well located. Owners were terrific.

We had a great time here. The house is
comfortable and fully equipped,
including outdoor grill and broadband
internet. Nice private lot, but good
location for Tanglewood, Great
Barrington, Jacobs Pillow. Owners are
friendly, accomodating and easy to work
with. Clean and well appointed. Good
deal.

We loved it here. We've been back a couple of times already. The
beach is a bonus and the house is spacious and comfy. I recommend this to anyone
who is looking for a country getaway.
