Puerto Banus Vacation Rental villa: Marbella

It was my friends 50th birthday and 9 of us stayed at the villa. The villa was perfect and we bearly left the villa during our 6 day stay. The kitchen has everything you could possibly need to cook for a large group and we used the BBQ too. We were met on arrival despite arriving very late and check out was easy too. We didnt spend much time in the villa other than to sleep. The shower pressures were excellent and we never ran out of hot water despite having 9 woman in the place. The outside area is very good for seating and sun bathing. There are some shady areas at the bottom of the garden. The villa is very secure which the locking gates. We will definitely go again.

We were met with a visual delight, with cascades of bougainvillea at the entrance. The delight persisted throughout our stay. It really was what we imagined a spanish vlilla to be. This well maintained property is clearly the object of the owner's care and attention. A quiet safe location, we could relax while our 3 and 8 year old boys ran through the garden and enjoyed the fenced pool. When we were not BBQing in the garden the fully equipped kitchen was good for preparing meals from food purchased at the supermarket a short stroll away. We used a car to drive down to the beach nearby with all the family clutter, but there is a bus and we often walked. At night when we could use a babysitter, my wife and I would eat in the town and stroll up the the villa through the quiet neighborhood - tipsy but safe.

The only problem we faced was the day we arrived the pool seemed to be gurgling strangely: Upon close examination of the filter system we found an old pair of shorts that seemed to have caught itself there. We laughed at the stories this provided us and our children during our stay.

An acceptable oversight for such a wonderful location.

We will book again.
This villa is really great!

We were a group of 4 adults and 6 children ages 4 to 10 staying at Casa Salamandra. We loved the light, airy feel of the villa and all the different terraces and hidden corners of the garden so we never felt on top of one another, and you could always find a quiet place to read or sunbathe in peace. The children were delighted with the toys, playhouses and gardens to run around in, which was safely walled and private, and also the pool where they spent most of the day. The kitchen was great, well equipped and no problem to feed 10 people. It overlooks the pool so you can keep an eye on the kids while making meals. There is a supermarket close by which made shopping easy, and lots of restaurants a short stroll away. Very relaxing. Everybody was welcoming and helpful and there was a file of useful information, maps, places to see etc.
The only problem was the automatic watering coming on at the wrong time and soaking the sunbathers! The friendly gardener sorted it out.
Highly recommended. We will come again!
