4 of my family members and I spent a fantastic week at this lovely cottage. There is a lot privacy on this lot. The house is fully equipped and quite clean. The beach is beautiful ... and not crowded. Lots of areas for bike riding. All agreed that this is one of the nicest vacations we spent together.
We just stayed on this property from 6/26/09-7/3/09. We loved it! Cute and cozy. Easy to keep picked up. We used the great room in the middle a lot! We loved having our bedroom on one side of the great room/porch while the kids (16 and 11) were on the other side. The outdoor shower was great - very private for those after beach showers! The master bedroom shower and the outdoor shower both have those large "rain" shower heads which I always have wanted to try (and loved it - they have great water pressure!). Nice/new stacking front loader washer/dryer. Small galley kitchen - perfect for vacation as I don't cook a lot while we are away! Easy to travel to private beach which has lifeguards. Also just minutes from shopping in Rehoboth, Bethany Beach, Fenwick Island, and Ocean City. I also love that there is one price for this property - no matter what week you go.
We loved this property, it was at the end of a quite street, no noise of traffic, yet close enough for my teenage boys to ride their bikes to the beach or ride over to the Market Place. The layout was great, our boys rooms were on the other side of the huge porch. Which gave us privacy on our side. The hugh porch had plenty of seating for guests. A ping pong table was on the hugh porch which we all enjoyed using for fun. There was a beach and parking pass for Middlesex beach which was also great. I had no problem getting a parking spot close to any of the entrances to the beach. There were plenty of restaurants nearby, plus we were able to take our small dog with us on this vacation. There was only 1 TV on our side in the Living Room, but my boys played video games and watched tapes on the small tv's that we took with us on vacation. I definitely recommed this property.
Our cottage is located near the Atlantic Ocean in between Bethany Beach, a small charming beach town, and South Bethany. This area is bordered by Cape Henloped State Park to the north and Assateague National Park to the south and near the Capte May Lewes Ferry and the towns of Rehoboth Beach, Fenwick Island, and Ocean City, Md.
