Walk out your door and you are on the ocean! This charming cottage boasts gorgeous harbor side views of turn-of-the-century schooners, channel islands, lobster boats, harbor seals and more. Two twin beds make comfortable accommodations for 2 with a pull out sofa for additional guests. Vaulted ceiling give way to a light and cheery atmosphere with abundant windows to capture the stunning views. Prepare your own meals for your own private harbor side dining, or just a 2 minute walk to Stonington's many fine restaurants. Visit a variety of shops, museums, galleries, theatre and more. Isle au Haut Ferry nearby for scenic tours or travel to nearby Isle au Haut for hiking and biking on part of Acadia's National Park.

Harborside Cottage: Harborside Cottage: Relax, literally cove side, perched above majestic granite retaining walls providing for elevated and close up views of Stonington Harbor. Enjoy these close at hand views and interesting harbor activities - just outside your windows! Gaze to distant Isle au Haut, channel islands, kayakers and lobster boats as they scurry to and fro, from inside Harborside Cottage or from the comfortable outside lounge chairs. The sunny, open plan with cathedral ceilings provide for a spacious feel. The cozy kitchen open to the living room/dining area. The bedroom is off the living room. Guest choose if they want the bed set up as a king or 2 twins (a plush, king converter provides for comfortable sleeping - see pics below!!). New sofa & chair in livingroom! Sleeps 2-4.

Just what the doctor ordered - watch the schooners & fisherman through your window, while Isle au Haut appears and disappears in the distance.
The bed was very comfortable, you can see the harbor from it. Appliances adequate for the job, plenty of hot water. Caretaker nearby if you need assitance.
Although there are houses around you feel enough privacy and peacefulness, yet you can just walk down your side street to the wine store and town is just down a short hill. Kayak launch and Isle au Haut ferry right down the street.
Bring a grill and beach umbrella if you want shade while sitting outside. Linen provided - you strip the bed when leaving and take care of your own trash.
