Ideal Provincetown rental

I just returned from a delightful week in P-town at this condo. The listing is really modest -- you will be pleasantly surprised. The condo is located on a little street right off the main intersection of Commercial Street at the main pier, in the heart of town, yet set so far back from Commercial Street that it is quiet and private at all times. Parking for two cars is at the front door, separated by a fenced in yard. From the living room there are views to the water, and the side views are expansive (there is no structure adjacent to obstruct views and light). The condo has beautiful new hardwood floors, new kitchen and baths, equipped with everything, down to the martini glasses (just bring beach towels, though they have beach chairs). The unit was spotlessly clean. The bedrooms have window air conditioners, one of which we used, and the other of which was not needed. The living room has great cross breezes. There is a TV in the living room with cable and VCR, and TVs in each bedroom. The condo has a telephone. While there is no wireless service provided, there was always wireless internet available, not password protected -- in other words, turn on your computer and you have excellent service. There is a wonderful health food store and a mini-mart both about 1/2 block from the back gate to the yard. We shopped for food, but the owners supply many other things not usually found in condo rentals -- all cleaning and dish washing supplies, paper towels, paper napkins, some condiments (even a good pepper grinder with good pepper corns!), coffee pot filters, etc. We did not meet the owners, but they are a pleasure to deal with -- everything was done reliably and as expected and they have good systems in place. For example, they will mail you the key several days prior to your departure for P-town, and extra keys will be in the unit when you arrive. Then you just leave all the keys there when you leave. We arrived unexpectedly late on the first day, and it was such a pleasure to know that I did not have to find someone with the key, or find ourselves locked out for hours. I also had a real sense that the owners wanted to be sure that we were happy with the accommodations. We met one of the neighbors, who told us that the owners are really nice people -- I like those kinds of reports. In short, I look forward to going back.
